Image:Blackout, Part 2, P1 bnw.jpg|Jason feels that ''[[Blackout, Part 2]]'' was much more clear and concise, and a lot less confusing than ''[[Blackout, Part 1]''. He credits this to more time planning his work. |

In retrospect, I would have drawn something quieter, more introspective. Perhaps a little bit more angsty than angry." |

"I managed to cheat the first two panels by using an...image built up from a bunch of photos that I took. So, while there is no drawing in there, it is still a piece of Photoshop artwork."
-
Jason said he received a lot of criticism for drawing a teenager who looked old. "I'm trying to draw a young, withered person and that (to me) ends up kinda looking like an older person. Given that he was never mentioned to be a teenager in the actual story, I'm not too stressed about it."
-
"I really like the dynamic colour scheme from panel three. The moonlight and the lighting make for an interesting palette. I do regret not putting more medical equipment in the room, though."
Notes about Jason's drawings are taken from his weblog.
