About
Four Months Ago...
Alejandro is dancing with his sister Maya at his wedding reception, telling her that someday, she will learn to love her new sister-in-law. Maya points out that Gloria is dancing with her ex-boyfriend Gilberto, but Alejandro is not bothered since they broke up two years ago. Maya later catches Gloria and Gilberto making love in a room. She flies into a rage and Maya's ability manifests for the first time, killing everyone at the wedding, including children. Alejandro is the only survivor.
