'''Necromancy''' is the ability to control the dead. Desmond Black, an old college friend of Lucien Gray, manifested this ability during the 2006 eclipse, while working as an undertaker at a local funeral home. Necromancy can only be used if the deceased has a mostly intact brain. If the brain has minor damage, due to decay or injury, the deceased will be revived without access to that particular feature (if the speech function of the brain is damaged, the revived cannot speak). However, if the damage is extensive, due to trauma or having been removed, the deceased cannot be revived.
