Heroes Evolutions
A Global News Interactive Video report reveals that when the Nazis captured Ruth Meisner in a forest, Rooijker found their son left for dead and he then smuggled him into Spain and left him on the steps of a monastery. After the war ended, Rooijker did not return to pick up his son, and has never been heard of since.
