* The Cavern Theater, the Pecos River and ESPECIALLY the Carlsbad Caverns are dead giveaways. The Cavern Theater is the building that tipped me off and confirmed my suspicion that it was the Carlsbad Caverns (hence the name "Cavern" Theater). Also, the Carlsbad Caverns are famous in the United States. It's an extremely famous landmark, just like the Washington Monument and Pyramid Arena shown in the same comic.
