The man Claire rescued from the traincar wasn't a firefighter, was he? Cuardin 07:54, 12 January 2007 (EST)
- I'd have to go back and watch that scene again to be sure. However, I'm just taking info from other pages (Officer Ramsford, Peter Petrelli, Claire Bennet, Don't Look Back, Zach, Sheriff Davidson Newspaper clipping (Jackie), and others all say he was a firefighter). - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:10, 12 January 2007 (EST)
- OK; I am gonna list the evidence here and see what conclusion can be drawn:
- The man isn't wearing a firefighter's uniform, but regualar dark pants and a kahki sports jacket and a t-shirt.
- Zack says "You saved that dude's life"
- The Odessa Registar has an article with the title "Mysterious Good Samaritan Saves Man".
- The sherrif says "There just happens to be a very greatful man lying in the hospital..."
- Calire says "How is he? The man jackie pulled out of the train?"
- I think I got enought evidence to support he isn't a firefighter, so I am gonna start some editing. -- Cuardin 10:24, 14 January 2007 (EST)
- I agree with you. I think it's probably better to use the language of the show (calling him a "man" ...well, maybe we won't call him a "dude") in describing the man. It's always kind of bothered me that we assumed he was a firefighter, and that it's so deeply ingrained in this site. Thanks for your edits. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:50, 14 January 2007 (EST)
- Done. I named him Train Wreck Victim because he appears to be completely nameless and completely uncredited. Cuardin 10:53, 14 January 2007 (EST)
