So I heard a phrase today, where someone refers to a couple of boys "more dangerous than Frik and Frak". I've never heard this phrase before, has anyone else heard this pair of names? If so, my guess is that Breckin Meyer and Seth Green are going to be Frik and Frak.--Bob (talk) 21:10, 13 September 2008 (EDT)

  • Wouldn't that be cool! ... I think the name refers more to the Battlestar Galactica curse "frak". Plus, Robot Chicken uses the word often, and they're always referencing BSG. I think Seth and Breckin are just really big fans... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:11, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
    • Actually, the phrase goes back to a pair of comedic ice skaters who came to the US from Switzerland in 1937. You can read about them on Wikipedia and World Wide Words. They originated a couple dangerous skating stunts. You can see some video of them on Youtube (ie. a clip of both of them from CBS Sunday Morning; a clip of just Mr. Frick).--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:08, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
      • There we go. Like I said, it was stated as if the phrase was common knowledge, but I had never heard of it. I guess I misspelled it. Thanks for getting the "Frick" out of me. Anyway, I think the spelling "frak" might be a more personal reference to BSG than the old saying, but whose to say. We can always wait, eh?--Bob (talk) 04:42, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
