The 'Do Not Delete' request is given because this is a page in-process, in a user-area. • "Do not delete" is implicit, it doesn't require the article be tagged. If an article is in the main namespace then any concerns that would make it likely to be tagged AfD won't be assuaged simply with a "do not delete" template and the article would get deleted anyway. Since this is a user subpage it won't be deleted. It'll be up to you to tag it AfD if/when you want it deleted. (Admin 21:05, 5 September 2007 (EDT))

    • It's ok for an article to need some work especially when it's first created, so don't feel like you need to start everything within your user space. Consider it more for articles that might not necessarily fit into the mold already that you'd like to give a chance to evolve before a decision is made one way or another. New characters, episodes, etc. still make sense to start right in the main namespace. (Admin 21:38, 5 September 2007 (EDT))
