Talk:Portal:Recurring Characters/Season Four

Since we're now classifying Recurring Characters based on how many episodes they've appeared in per season (see help:characters...), what happens when only the first two episodes of the season have aired? Do we...

• ...keep the Recurring Characters portal empty until a non-Main character has appeared in three episodes?
• ...make educated guesses on which non-Main characters from the first two episodes will continue to recur, then add them to this portal?
• ...read the spoilers and see which characters have been confirmed to recur, then add them?
• ...add everyone who appears in the first few episodes, then slowly "shed" them off as more episodes air?

• Either the first or second option--we keep the recurring characters portal empty until the fourth episode, though I'm not opposed to educated guesses for the first three episodes...so long as it's only for the first three episodes. I don't want to be making educated guesses the entire season. We definitely won't go based on spoilers. (I actually don't know anything about Lydia, and didn't read the page. I just chose her picture because it was the best of the new characters, besides Edgar's, but I didn't want to have two men in the navbar, along with Samuel's picture.) Bottom line, I'd rather either keep the portal empty, or just "guess", so long as we're only doing that for the first few episodes and that's it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:27, 27 August 2009 (EDT)

        • That's cool with me. They will automatically be put into the minor character (and guest star) portal until the character's page (and actor's page) is updated, and the recurring character (and supporting actor) portals themselves are updated. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:46, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
          • Alright. Since the "limit" for Recurring Characters is usually 3 appearances at the start of a season, that means that if Edgar, Lydia, Kimiko, Gretchen, Annie, Hesam, Janice, or Matt, Jr. appear in next week's episode, they'll go straight into the Recurring Characters portal. --Radicell 06:04, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
