Will was off the ground in an instant, peering intently at the forest. As the sound came closer, Will grabbed a sharp stick off the ground and held it loosely in his hand. A figure briskly emerged, and neither Will nor Kayla could believe what they were seeing. It was Will, but not Will. His face was more weathered, and his eyes seemed colder and crueler than his counterpart. The Will of now gave him no chance to speak, and stabbed him in the chest. The other Will grunted in annoyance, and pulled the stick from his chest. Before their eyes, his gaping wound began to heal. |
