Hi Ice Vision. Welcome to the wiki. I see you have started adding some interesting stuff s well as some much needed clarification. What I notce, though, is that you don't write a comment on what you changed for the changelogs. Here at HeroesWiki we tend not to comment for the talk pages, but when editing the actual articles, it really helps if ou make a note of what you changed. It needen't be ong, eg +sp for spelling corrections, but it really helps when looking over the changes. Take cre, and keep the changes coming. -- [[User:Cuardin|Cuardin]] 01:33, 24 January 2007 (EST) |

==Theories== |
When adding preposterous and nonsensical theories to the theories articles in some kind of misguided attempt to make a point, can you please make sure to follow the actual set-up of the columns? Only citations to specific scenes from episodes or graphic novels belong in the "Citations" columns. Base speculation and non-canon evidence belong in "Notes". Thanks!--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] <small>[[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]]</small> 15:26, 29 March 2007 (EDT) |

You need to specify this more clearly. The point of providing evidence is to be specific. Regardless, for you to post two theories contradictory to each other really doesn't add to the validity of any of your claims. --[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 19:35, 2 April 2007 (EDT) |

*In "Worse than the boogeyman theory" you said that "Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite confirmed in an [http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9411 interview] that the man was Sylar". Could you extract where exactly they confirmed he was Sylar?? --[[User:Heroero|Heroero]] |

**Ah, I see. |
'''Another weekly reader named Jason (do these people not have last names or something?) asks, "So in the episode 'One Giant Leap,' we saw Sylar infiltrate an FBI building trying to catch the little girl Molly Walker. Presumably she has powers since Sylar was chasing her. Will she ever make an appearance again?'''<br> |
''Jason just earned himself a last name. It's "Insight".'' |
I was referring to the man who was chasing after Molly at the FBI building. In the interview, the writers said that Jason earned himself the last name "Insight", meaning he has... insight. The question included Sylar infiltrating an FBI building, so that means that Sylar was the one, not the "worse than the boogeyman" character. Sorry for the confusion.--[[User:Ice Vision|Ice Vision]] 19:45, 4 June 2007 (EDT) |
*Thanks for the explanation. But in my opinion that just confirmed that Molly has powers and that she would appear again, not that the mysterious man was Sylar. Sorry, yes, I'm rather stubborn, and I do still think that that guy was not Sylar. |
**I would think that the writers/producers would correct them if it was not really Sylar. Anyways, you should sign your comments with <nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki>, Heroero. == Mr. Muggles == |
* Hi, Ice Vision. The link you added as evidence that Mr. Muggles has a power isn't really appropriate evidence since it's just a fan created page so saying that [[The Company]] has a file on him is inaccurate. Thanks! ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 14:04, 4 April 2007 (EDT)) |

The formatting you undid is agreed upon and setup by the admins. Do not remove this for no apparent reason. In addition, if you refer to the talk page for the Theories:Events page, it is mentioned why the dozen theories were removed. Simply adding "it is unknown at this time the extent" isn't evidence, it's stating the exact same thing as leaving the notes portion blank. --[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 21:52, 10 April 2007 (EDT) |

== Theories, part 2 == |
* Ice Vision, despite the quality edits you've made to other articles, and they are appreciated, many of the edits you are making to the Theories pages are disruptive. Please refrain from adding further implausible theories. Thank you. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 22:04, 10 April 2007 (EDT)) |
* For adding unfounded theories, include canonical references in citations. If there are none, put "None." Otherwise, following the form of citing the specific reference in an episode/GN, followed by (''[[Genesis]]'') or whatever. It makes the theories page clean, something that took me about 3hrs to clean up for all theories pages. Again, refer to [[Help:Theories]] if you need anything further.--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 00:27, 12 April 2007 (EDT) |

Hey, Ice Vision. Quick tip -- when adding Memorable Quotes, check out [http://www.kilohoku.com/heroes.html the transcript site]. Ice Vision, I realize that both men have their brains removed and are wearing beards, but that does not mean they are the same person. There is simply no evidence of that, other than your opinion that they look similar. Further, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that they are different people: Bennet shows Eden the picture on October 11th, and Isaac isn't killed until November. Plus, the picture was taken sometime before October 11th. Not only that, Isaac is sitting in the ''next room'' at Primatech. Besides the fact that the Trivia section is in the wrong area, those changes really need to be reverted. — [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 22:57, 23 April 2007 (EDT) |

* I never said that they were the same person. They are clearly different people. But the same dummies were used for two different bodies. The writers do it often, they use something twice instead of doing two different things. I think I might have needed to clarify what I have said. |
**Well, that makes a lot more sense, you can see why I was so confused by the note you added. However, even though they are most likely the same prop dummy, are we really sure they are the same? Perhaps they used the same mold for two different dummies, or they ordered another model from the dummy-making company. Or maybe they just ''look'' the same but aren't really the exact same dummies. I mean, in the end, we just don't know one way or the other, do we? — [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 23:21, 23 April 2007 (EDT) |
***Sorry about the confusion. I guess we don't know for sure. But because they are very similar, I'm pretty sure they're the same. When I put yourself in the writers' shoes, I wouldn't get another dummy, I would just use the same one, but make a few changes (clothing, surroundings, lighting, etc.). Also, since the photo was only shown for a few seconds, they probably thought nobody would notice. It was something minor and not that big of a deal. But since there is no confirmation, I'm going to reword the trivia. |
****Thanks, Ice Vision, I really appreciate it. You worded it well. You know, I'd be willing to bet they're the same dummy, and in the end it doesn't really matter, right? I just want to make sure that we're not jumping to any conclusions. If we don't catch the small things, then the big things will slip by us eventually....BTW, I'm pretty sure the writers and production design crew generally assume people will stop the show and grab screencaps of things they show. They certainly go to an awful lot of trouble to put the correct dates on receipts and newspapers, for instance. I think ''Heroes'' has a pretty savvy crew. :) — [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 00:07, 24 April 2007 (EDT) |

*****Yeah, you've got a point, the crew is indeed very savvy. They've thrown in many small things here and there. Anyways, thanks for everything. |

******I was rewatching {{epp|109}} last night, and was when I saw these pics, I immediately thought, 'story-line goof'....that's Isaac, and he hasn't died yet. I went back and photo-shopped the pics side-by-side, and adjusted the face angles and coloring as close as possible, and circled distinct parts of the face that show this is the same person. Whether this was a goof, or a reused prop, we can't know for sure. But the Homecoming pic is definately a picture of the body used to show the brainless future-Isaac from {{epp|102}}<br> [[Image:IsaacFutureHomecomingPicture.jpg]]<br><small>--[[User:HiroDynoSlayer|HiroDynoSlayer]] ([[User talk:HiroDynoSlayer|talk]]) 09/14/2007 10:23 (EST)</small> |

I'm not sure what was wrong with the quote on [[Charles Deveaux's rooftop#Memorable Quotes|Charles Deveaux's rooftop]]. The ellipsis is used to cut out parts of the quote. The statement that Mr. Petrelli likely does not have powers is due to the fact that his role in the War Buddies story line of the online comics leave the definite impression that he does not have any powers. == Peter and STM == |
It has been discussed in great detail regarding Peter's ability to stop time. The audio effect is not telekinesis but stopping time (the clicking of the taser darts slows them stops). To make a logical argument, Peter mimicked the ability from Future Hiro, who has the ability to stop time for not just himself. Although Claude is moving (which was my original argument for it to NOT be STM but TK), it's not hard to think that Peter stopped time for both of them. |
Having said that, Future Hiro, I believe, stopped time for both himself and Peter in the subway. Peter can mimic abilities without knowing it, but Hiro's ability is so vast, who's to say that he instantly mimicked part of STM that was convenient enough to stop time right when FHiro showed up. More than likely, FHiro can stop time for himself and someone else, just like he teleported Ando into the future. |
Anyway, just check talk pages before you make these changes. We go through a lot of debate over it, and it was decided that it was STM, not TK, that made the darts ''stop'', not fall.--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 15:58, 28 April 2007 (EDT) |

== Re: The Nakamuras == |

You're right that is probabbly unneccesary to unreverse the names directly after the begining of the article for the most part, though I think as far as "formal name" in the side box should be surname first, and use correct ''rōmaji'' when known. As far as [[Hiro]], including his kanji name (which is presumably known) with the Japanese pronounciation in parentheses is appropriate, and is the way it is done in Wikipedia for people of Japanese origin, and though [[Kaito]]'s kanji is not known, I believe it only exists as a name as ''Kaitō''. == Autolinking == |
Small point, but one which might interest you. The [[template:character box|character box]] will automatically link the name of the portrayer if the article exists. In other words, we don't need to put brackets around the portrayer because the link will automatically turn blue once the article is written. The brackets don't hurt, so that's why it's a small point. But there's probably no need to [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Stanley&diff=72927&oldid=72901 add] the brackets. But in the end, um, whatever. :) — [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 08:53, 24 May 2007 (EDT) |

* Oh, okay. I thought it needed brackets because it was unlinked without them.--[[User:Ice Vision|Ice Vision]] 15:04, 24 May 2007 (EDT) |
**Yeah, it's actually a pretty smart little template. It'll be black if the page doesn't exist, but blue if the page doesn't exist. <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist:Ice Vision|[[Ice Vision]]|Ice Vision}}</nowiki></tt> yields {{#ifexist:Ice Vision|[[Ice Vision]]|Ice Vision}}, but <tt><nowiki>{{#ifexist:User:Ice Vision|[[User:Ice Vision|]]|User:Ice Vision}}</nowiki></tt> yields {{#ifexist:User:Ice Vision|[[User:Ice Vision|Ice Vision]]|User:Ice Vision}}. That way we can make sure we manually link multiple portrayers. For instance, there's no article called <nowiki>[[Masi Oka, <br>Garrett Masuda (young Hiro)]]</nowiki>, of course, so it would be silly to link to it. ([[Candice]]'s portrayers are even worse.) That's why we allow for it to be manually linked, too. Again, there's nothing wrong with linking to a portrayer (in fact, it adds to the [[special:wantedpages|list of red links]], which is nice), but I just wanted you to be aware that it wasn't ''necessary'' to make a link. :) — [[User:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font>]] ([[User talk:Ryangibsonstewart|<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>]]) 15:25, 24 May 2007 (EDT) |
