*It's a little different, but has a similar purpose, I suppose. However, that template was created back when we used a disambig note at the top of pages. It's a lot more cumbersome (in my opinion) because it requires so much more input--I'd rather just type in the one line. I don't think that template is being used anywhere, and it should probably be deleted. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:41, 21 August 2007 (EDT)

** Just tested <nowiki>{{disambiglead}}</nowiki> and the note doesn't auto-show up at the top of the page. However, it doesn't create a 'See also' header like this template does and I like the improvement. I double-checked and confirmed the other template isn't being used, so I'm going to mark it afd and change the help on {{disambig}} to point to this template instead.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 00:04, 22 August 2007 (EDT)

Isn't this a duplicate template? Doesn't {{disambiglead}} do the same thing?--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:34, 21 August 2007 (EDT)

  • It's a little different, but has a similar purpose, I suppose. However, that template was created back when we used a disambig note at the top of pages. It's a lot more cumbersome (in my opinion) because it requires so much more input--I'd rather just type in the one line. I don't think that template is being used anywhere, and it should probably be deleted. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:41, 21 August 2007 (EDT)
