So there's a microphone in the gym, some nice cars in the parking lot, and some semi-current hospital equipment. However, there's not really any tech on the students (ie. ipods, radios, cellphones) (omission on purpose or not?). Since Candice is an illusion she'll never age so how can we tell if she's 20, 30 or more years older now? Should we assume this is 1970s, 1980s? I put n/a for now since we really can't say how long ago these events occured.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 14:32, 17 July 2007 (EDT) |

*That's right. The only thing we know is that ''Betty, Part 1'' says the events occurred "not long ago." Ryan Odagawa said he had "no idea when it takes place." He assumes it takes place "not very long ago, well, based on what happens in the last story." Could be any time, honestly (though the fashions and trends of the cheerleaders in particular point to sometime in the past decade or so). I like that it's pretty unspecified--it makes Candice seem that much more mystical and even mythological. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 16:53, 17 July 2007 (EDT) |
