I'm not sure how beneficial these will be. It seems to me that if somebody can read a transcript online, they can just read the graphic novel online as well. The benefits of episode transcripts are 1) the episodes aren't always readily available on-line, 2) the episodes are long and difficult to search through, and 3) the episodes are audio/visual, and aren't otherwise available in a text-based format. None of those really applies to the graphic novels. That, and there's a fairly serious copyright concern with reproducing the text of a novel in its entirety that I'm not altogether comfortable with (and I'd be just as opposed to Heroes Wiki hosting episode transcripts for just that reason). What's anybody else think?--Hardvice (talk) 16:31, 6 September 2007 (EDT) |

* My reason for wanting them, is to have a searchable text-base. With nearly 50 GNS and growing, there ends up being alot of data in them, that isn't searchable, and it is easy to forget stuff. I will hold off transcribing anymore of them, to see how everyone feels about it. I know I refer to the written Epi transcripts alot, and always thought it would be useful to have the GNs transcribed as well. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 09/6/2007 16:57 (EST) |

** I think the idea of having the text be searchable is great and definitely the general idea here (like how Ryan transcribes his interviews). However the overriding concern is copyright which is why the transcripts will have to go. An episode summary, even a detailed one, is ok because they're our own words, but the text of the novel is copyrighted and we can't use it. (Admin 16:59, 6 September 2007 (EDT)) |

Transcripts of Graphic Novels
- My reason for wanting them, is to have a searchable text-base. With nearly 50 GNS and growing, there ends up being alot of data in them, that isn't searchable, and it is easy to forget stuff. I will hold off transcribing anymore of them, to see how everyone feels about it.
