The Haitian recollects his childhood in the Haitian village where his father Guillame was a leader. The Tonton Macoutes, the millita run by the "President for Life" Duvalier, attack the village to find Guillame, who defends the village using his ability. He is interupted by his son accidentally blocking it, as his power of mental manipulation first manifests.
