(The elephant man didn't die because of the formula, but he was in extreme pain.) - According to Angela, the Company decided to stop producing the formula and playing God, that's why they divided and hid it. • If you have samples of a highly dangerous substance which takes the concept of 'hazardous waste' to nightmare-inducing heights, how are you going to dispose of it? Any method of disposal could potentially end with it escaping into the environment. Imagine an area where all the people are deranged freaks with superpowers.
