After returning from the future, Hiro Nakamura pays tribute to his grandfather at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial.

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial tower used in The Crane appears to be a replica of the "Monument in Memory of the Korean Victims of the A-Bomb" [1] located in Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima City, Japan.

Hiro enters the Hiroshima Peace Memorial.
Hiro goes to speak to his grandfather.
Hiro stands in front of the origami-filled monument.
The Monument Hiro visits closely resembles the "Monument in Memory of the Korean Victims of the A-Bomb".
The Monument is inscribed, "This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace in the world."
The inscription is actually found on the Children's Peace Monument.
