One Giant Leap

A Japanese schoolgirl is depicted in the 9th Wonders comic Hiro brings with him from the future. She is being depicted as being hit by a truck, and Hiro decides to save her, in part to prove to Ando that he can stop time. Though the two men arrive quite a bit later than they had planned, they still arrive in time for Hiro to be successful in his mission.

Notes

  • When Hiro and Ando find the schoolgirl and see the truck that will run over her, Ando runs out to stop the truck. The truck then veers off, crashing into a stand of plastic figurines. Ando's attempt to save the girl is what actually causes the accident.
