Character History

Graphic Novel:War Buddies, Part 3

Linderman's mother lies in her bed, dying of liver cancer. Her organs are shutting down one by one. Linderman holds her hand, and her husband sits nearby, watching vigil. Suddenly, she wakes up, healed from her son's touch. When her son explains that he was responsible for her miraculous recovery, not God, Linderman's mother and father look at their son with fear.

Notes

  • Linderman's mother appears very religious: in her home, she keeps at least a statue of Jesus, a picture of Jesus, a framed picture of a cross on her nightstand, and a cross on the wall. She also wears a crucifix around her neck.
