In Los Angeles in 1994, Mr. Gutierrez takes his sons Oscar and Carlos to a wrestling match featuring El Vengador and a fire-masked wrestler. Vengador knees his opponent in the stomach, but is punched back. Vengador then jump-kicks the fire-masked wrestler, a move that Oscar remembers and uses himself many years later.
