Mini-Imagemaps
- Maybe I've just got imagemaps on the brain, but what would people think of doing imagemaps (like template:Locationmap) for individual states/countries that have more than one place, and sticking them on the disambigs?--Hardvice (talk) 23:31, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

- Yeah, there's definitely value in it. People can see how close Primm and Las Vegas are, etc. The trouble is going to be fictional places like Costa Verde and San Cristobal.--Hardvice (talk) 23:54, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
- Do you have something in mind for images? Wikipedia:Blank maps has some good images, but they're small. The images they use to show locations (Wikipedia:Image:Map of USA LA.svg) are good, but I don't necessarily think we need the entire country (or world, in the case of country images). On the other hand, I don't want just the state, either. Maybe a cropped version of the Wikipedia image, only it wouldn't work because it's too small. - Yeah, I suppose you're right. The individual state maps (Wikipedia:Image:Louisiana Locator Map.PNG aren't bad, but I don't like the county dividers. Oh well.
