I removed the effects people and put them into Portal:Effects Department. I'm debating including the stunt people there, too. It can go either way. Any opinions? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:42, 20 June 2007 (EDT)

  • I would consider stunts effects more than "other". --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 15:33, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
    • Agree, but I'm actually going to make a portal for stunts. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:53, 21 June 2007 (EDT)

Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew

I'm thinking we should probably split off any crew members involved in Heroes Evolutions and make a "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew" (or "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Cast and Crew" if I can find out the names of some of the actors in Sword Saint and GNI). Anyway, this portal would include Joe Tolerico, Mark Warshaw, Yule Caise, and we would add Chuck Kim (who wrote Sword Saint). We could also include Aury Wallington if we wanted, because she's not really part of the Series Crew. An Evolutions cast and crew portal would also give us a good spot to put John Rhys-Davies, since he doesn't really belong anywhere else. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:00, 10 January 2008 (EST)

  • Sounds like a good idea. This portal, above all others, has the biggest possibility of growing atrociously large. -- Lulu (talk) 23:02, 10 January 2008 (EST)
    • Having a portal that acts as a catchall is both a blessing and a curse in that regard. I mean, where else would you put John Hinterlong? It's nice to be able to split off some individuals when they begin to form a large enough group--we might want to think about a portal for editors or assistant directors at some point in the future. Anyway, about the Evolutions crew portal, the more I think about it, the more I don't like the idea of having Joe Tolerico on this portal, nor on Portal:Producers since he works for NBC. I think the best solution is "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:10, 10 January 2008 (EST)
      • Sounds appropriate to me. -- Lulu (talk) 23:14, 10 January 2008 (EST)
        • Heroes Evolutions Crew is okay for me as long as we add Heroes Evolutions Cast too. Assuming we can find out who the cast it I think they deserve to be separate, or else name the portal 'Heroes Evolutions Cast and Crew'. Also, I don't think Aury Wallington belongs in Heroes Evolutions. Her novel, Saving Charlie, though supported by NBC, is not part of the 'online' effort that comprises the 'Evolutions' portion of 'Heroes'. The book is definately offline, and it has a differing storyline from the episodes. It's kind of like its own universe, kind of like the Star Trek novels.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:29, 10 January 2008 (EST)
          • If we can find out any of the cast's names, that'd be terrific. Hrmph. Are you saying we should have two portals, one for the crew and one for the cast? I'd be concerned about having two very small portals. Or are you suggesting naming the portal "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Cast and Crew" even if we don't have any cast members names? I'd rather name it just "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew", and if (when!) we find out actors' names, then we can rename or reevaluate. As for Aury Wallington, I agree, she's not really a match for the Evolutions crew, but it's a better match than having her in Category:Series Crew. I don't know where else to put her. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:43, 10 January 2008 (EST)
            • Actually, we know John Rhys-Davies's name, so "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Cast and Crew" is fine with me. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:44, 10 January 2008 (EST)
              • I disagree that she's a better match with the evolutions crew cause Evolutions is strictly online. Novelists really deserve their own category, imho, but I'm okay with her as part of Series Crew since her work is based on the series.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:10, 11 January 2008 (EST)
            • I'm stumped where to put Diana Terranova. Perhaps she should go into the Evolutions stuff because Zeroes linked from NBC.com's Evolutions portal??? It's not a great match, but I can't think of anything else. Ugh. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:55, 14 January 2008 (EST)
              • I wouldn't mind a separate portal for cast/crew of official works based on Heroes, such as Zeroes and the new novel, Saving Charlie. Aury and Diana could then go in that group.--MiamiVolts (talk) 21:35, 14 January 2008 (EST)
