Talk:White House
I started to add this place in the Portal:Non-Fictional_Places and I was about to also add it in the Portal:Law Enforcement Sites but I'm not sure wether or not it's a Law enforcement site, a politics etc and I'm too tired to search so... Do it yourself gngngn! -- FrenchFlo (talk) 06:17, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
- Though the Executive Branch is involved in law making, I would say it's probably best not to put it into the law enforcement category. I think of Law Enforcement sites more as police stations and the like. The White House is a much better fit in politics, obviously. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:10, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, on second thought, it doesn't really fit into any of the other places. I mean, I suppose it's a residence, but I don't think that's the best choice. Plus Portal:Miscellaneous Places is getting a bit stuffed. I'll add it to the Portal:Law Enforcement Sites. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:46, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
- Wherever it ends up, it needs to have the correct navbar. Right now it's in the Law Enforcement portal and the Residences category.--Hardvice (talk) 18:23, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- I do not agree with putting the White House in Law Enforcement. Law Enforcement and "enforcing laws" (as our 7th grade civics classes defines the executive branch) are two different things. It'd fit most likely as a residence (Prez and first family lives there) and politics. --Bob 04:06, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
- That's fine with me. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:48, 6 May 2007 (EDT)

Lead pic
I'm not sure wether or not the lead pic have to be a screenshot from the show.. At the mooment it's a pic from the non-fictionnal place... But I think we don't really see the White House from the outside during the show. -- FrenchFlo (talk) 17:04, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- Could we use the screenshot of Sylar as Nathan standing inside the White House?--Ice Vision 17:06, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- Depends. If there's an Oval Office article (and there are several redlinks to it), that should probably go there instead. I think the stock shot is fine, but then again I also think we could probably get away with having an article for either the White House or the Oval Office, since they will be practically identical.--Hardvice (talk) 17:42, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, since it looks like Oval Office redirects here, I say go for it.--Hardvice (talk) 18:02, 2 May 2007 (EDT)

- Actually, we get to se the White House. Remember when Nathan (Sylar) appears on the TV. He is walking outside the white house. Have a look. --Norman 18:11, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- Good catch! I cropped a shot of it and uploaded it as Image:White house tv.jpg. We should use that and add the oval office images to a gallery.--Hardvice (talk) 18:20, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
