Kimiko has powers. Nathan and Peter are evolved siblings. Hiro is an evolved human. (Genesis) • Micah and Claire Bennet inherited their powers, so it makes sense that all the Nakamuras also have powers.

- Shanti was an evolved human but her brother Mohinder is not. The siblings of evolved humans are not necessarily empowered.
- There is no reason to believe that powers can only arise if inherited, as that would raise the question of why powered individuals have only appeared recently (relative to all of human history, that is). This theory will bear more weight if and when Kaito Nakamura is shown to have an ability.
- The genetically inherited powers can also skip a generation or miss completely. Thats what happens with genetic code. It's unpredictable.
