Kimiko has powers.	Nathan and Peter are evolved siblings. Hiro is an evolved human. (Genesis)	• Micah and Claire Bennet inherited their powers, so it makes sense that all the Nakamuras also have powers. - Both Micah and Claire have two powered parents. It is also heavily implied that Angela and Mr. Petrelli have powers, which explains why Nathan and Peter have powers. We do not know anything about Hiros mother. - Shanti was an evolved human but her brother Mohinder is not. The siblings of evolved humans are not necessarily empowered. • Mohinder has never confirmed or denied having a power. - The Company's protocol is to put an evolved human with a regular human for field duty, and Mohinder was paired with Niki, an evolved human. - There is no reason to believe that powers can only arise if inherited, as that would raise the question of why powered individuals have only appeared recently (relative to all of human history, that is).
