Theory:Red
So the use of the color red is sprinkled thoughout the series in a very similar fashion to the way it was used in the the moview, the Sixth Sense. In the Sixth Sense, each scene containing red was a scene containing a ghost.
I Heroes, the color red follows each of our heroes around and acts as a breadcrumb to help us follow the show. They also hint at future happenings.
