Character History
Charlie grew up as a child living with her aunt following the death of her parents. Many years later, she was working as a waitress at the Burnt Toast Diner in Midland, Texas. Charlie then began to realize that her brain could “remember lots and lots of things”. She met Hiro Nakamura when he came to the diner, but unfortunately their time together was short because she was murdered by Sylar. Hiro then took matters into his own hands and traveled back in time to save Charlie. The two of them fell in love but Hiro was unable to save Charlie because she had a blood clot in her brain that was causing her to die, making her death inevitable.
Evolved Human Abilities
Charlie had an enhanced memory that began to develop about six months prior to her death. She was easily able to retain and recall what she read. She learned minutiae, languages, and complex information quickly, and without the need for repetition. Charlie was unaware of why she had this, or even that it was a special ability — she only knew that her brain began working faster than it used to.
