About
Orientation
Lydia and Edgar are both at the Joseph's funeral. Later, when Edgar comes from Samuel, Lydia is there with them, and has just finished using his power.

Edgar looks Lydia while the ink is injected by Samuel.
Graphic Novel:Stolen Fate
Fourteen years ago at the Sullivan Bros. Carnival, Lydia and Edgar share a drink and discuss Lydia's joy at being with the carnival. She thanks Edgar for making her smile and the two go to cause some trouble for the fortune teller. As they arrive at her tent, Lydia and Edgar find the fortune teller speaking with a young Hiro Nakamura. They steal her crystal ball and Edgar dashes off with it. The two then go on the Ferris wheel and Lydia looks into the ball, seeing a picture of a baby while Edgar sees pictures of a fully grown, tatooed Lydia. The two discuss this with the fortune teller and Samuel Sullivan. The fortune teller tells Lydia that what she saw was what she truly desired and that such knowledge is extremely dangerous. Then Edgar and everyone else if they vannoe Lydia remains alone.

Before Edgar goes to retrieve the compass for Sameul, Lydia asks Edgar picking up a parcel for her. He agrees and leaves.
Webisode:Slow Burn, Part 1
While Lydia watches one of her tattoos form on her right arm, Edgar walks into her trailer, gives her a package, and warns her about the risk she is taking in having a phone. Lydia explains that she has a daughter, and she believes her daughter may be in trouble. Lydia tells Edgar that she left her daughter when she was a teenager because she was too young, scared, and different. Lydia left her daughter at her sister's house, and then ran, and ended up at the carnival. Edgar assures her that it's going to be okay, but Lydia shows him her tattoo. It is a tattoo of her daughter, surrounded by what appears to be fire. Lydia insists that something is happening to her, she can feel it. Lydia says she needs to talk to her daughter, and Edgar excuses himself from the trailer.
Acceptance
Lydia goes to see Edgar and determine why he's sulking. She wonders if he has concerns about the new people that Samuel is bringing in. Edgar worries that Samuel wouldn't be bringing in so many people if Joseph were still alive. Samuel steps out and insists that he's the one to decide which way the family goes. He says it's time to find more and leads Lydia back to his trailer. He tells her that she can tell him anything, even if she's dissatisfied. Edgar look Samuel when paints a tattoo on her back, and an image of Noah appears. Samuel is surprised and wonders why Lydia is showing him Noah's face, and insists that he's retired. Lydia says Noah may have changed his mind.
Webisode:Slow Burn, Part 2
Edgar and Samuel talk about Lydia: Samuel says that he's noticed Lydia seems unhappy. Samuel asks Edgar if he has noticed anything wrong with Lydia. Edgar says he hasn't and Samuel suggests that Lydia is distracted and unsatisfied. He leaves Edgar with a comment that both he and Lydia can make their own mistakes.
