- Just noticed NBC's My Own Worst Enemy (in series production) and FOX's Inseparable (still just a pilot), are similar split-personality shows. Just an observation...--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:43, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
- On that same note, it's kinda odd that when Fox come out with Don't Forget the Lyrics!, NBC came out with the similar Singing Bee. Also, Fox does The Moment of Truth, and NBC follows with the similar but lighter Amnesia.--SacValleyDweller (talk) 16:56, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah, that was odd too, though reality shows are normally faster to go to production.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:15, 4 April 2008 (EDT)

Life on Mars
Why do they do this. I mean, they got rid of Chris and Ray! Two great characters! They better be in the episode in some form. --DocM 06:55, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
- They are likely replacing Chris and Ray with new characters, but we'll have to wait and see how it all works out.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:35, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
New series
- Here are some of the new ones that look interesting to me:
- Eleventh Hour: American adaptation of a British series. To me that means that it's already passed some scrutiny and may be viable. It's turned out well for The Office. As long as they don't try an American adaptation of Monty Python next...
- 90210: Again, tried and true so it looks promising. It could also bomb for the same reason.
- Fringe: I get a good feeling about this. Since X-Files ended I don't think anything else really stepped up...and The X-Files had a nice fan base.
- Dollhouse: While the premise sounds a little corny to me, it's by Joss Whedon and there seems to be a loyal Whedon fanbase. At the same time since it's by Joss Whedon it will air for a season or two and then get canceled much to the chagrin of Joss Whedon fans everywhere.
- Knight Rider: I'm the most hopeful about this one. The mini-series they aired a while back was well-received. There could be a lot of potential in this one especially if it appeals to the original Knight Rider fanbase, too.
- Merlin: This could capture the attention of fans of those old Hercules and Xena series that used to air. I think there's a potential fanbase here.
A lot (but not all) of the other series sound a bit corny or cliche to me. I don't know if I'd even watch any of the above series. Nothing is standing out like Heroes and Lost did. Depending on the acting, though, I suppose any of them have potential. I didn't watch House at first because I thought it was just another medical drama until I found out it was actually funny.
