How did you get your role on Heroes?

Very simple, I went to a pre-read, THEN READ FOR ALAN ARKUSH AND GOT THE PART. I DONT KNOW IF THEY MODELED THE GERMAN IN THE GRAPHIC NOVELS AFTER ME, OR CAST ME BECAUSE I LOOKED LIKE HIM, BUT I SURE AM HONORED TO BE A PART OF THE HEROES LEGACY!

Had you seen the show before you where cast?

YES, LOVED IT! COULDNT TURN IT OFF. IM A HUGE FAN OF JOSEPH CAMPBELL AND HIS BOOKS ON HEROES AND ARCHETYPES. I REALLY LIKED HOW THE FIRST SEASON EXPLORED SIMILAR THEMES OF FAMILY, KARMA AND DESTINY--THEMES THAT ARE INHERENT IN THE VERY FABRIC OF OUR HUMAN PSYCHE, AND HAVE BEEN SINCE THE PICTS WERE PAINTING ON CAVE WALLS! HERO MYTHOLOGY IS ONE OF THE OLDEST MANIFESTATIONS OF HUMAN COMMUNICATION.

Do you have a favourite character?

PROBABLY MATT PARKMAN; AN ORDINARY GUY WHO HAS TROUBLE DEALING WITH HIS POWERS AND HIS PAST, AND BECAUSE HE IS A COP--GREAT RESPECT FOR THAT JOB AND WHAT THEY DO. HE WAS THE ONLY HERO, WHO WAS A 'HERO', BEFORE HE HAD POWERS. I HEARD HE WAS COMING TO THE MCM WITH US THIS YEAR IN LONDON AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING HIM LATER HIS MONTH.

Do you have any stories from the set?

I SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH MILO, BLAKE AND JAMIE-- A GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS. MILO WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND SUPER NICE. HAYDEN SHOWED UP ALMOST EVERY DAY AND EVEN BOUGHT US COFFEE ONE DAY--REALLY NICE GIRL. IT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY TO SEE WHEN LEGITIMATELY NICE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE SUCCESS. THERE ARE MANY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE, WHO ARE VERY NICE AT ALL.

If you could have any power then what would it be?

PROBABLY SUPER SPEED, BUT FLIGHT IS A CLOSE SECOND

How where the parts were you used your powers filmed?

PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING WAS DONE BY REMOTE CONTROL. AN F/X GUY FOLLOWED MY HAND MOVEMENTS.

Were there any scenes which you were in cut from the final cut?

YEAH, A REALLY COOL BIT WHERE I PULLED A GUN OUT OF A BANK GUARDS HAND FROM ACROSS THE ROOM, WITH MY POWER. A LOT OF THE FIGHT SCENE AT THE GAS STATION WAS CUT TOO. THEY SHOOT SO MUCH AND TRY TO COMPRESS IT INTO A TIME SLOT, AND IT DOESNT ALWAYS FIT, SO THEY HAVE TO COMPRESS AND EDIT OUT A LOT OF STUFF.

Did you have to put a ascent on for the German or is that how you naturally talk?

I SPEAK A FEW LANGUAGES AND DO MANY ACCENTS WITH A NATIVE FLUENCY, THAT WAS ONE OF THEM. I HAVE AN AMERICAN ACCENT, THOUGH.

You appear in a photo with Ali Larter and Dr. Zimmerman. Can you tell us what you think this means? Did you actually have the photo taken or was it cut together?

YEAH WE TOOK THAT PHOTO ON THE LOT. I SUSPECT THAT, SINCE THERE IS MORE THAN ONE OF HER, THERE MUST BE MORE OF ME. I HOPE I CAN COME BACK AS A GOOD GUY WORKING FOR THE COMPANY, OR ANOTHER EVIL VILLAIN. AN EPIC BATTLE BETWEEN BROTHER AND SISTER WOULD BE REALLY COOL

I saw you on Heroes Unmasked. Is it required that when you appear on Heroes you appear on there too or did they approach you separately?

I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS. HEROES UNMASKED? PERHAPS IT HAD A DIFFERENT TITLE IN THE STATES. IVE DONE SO MANY INTERVIEWS IN THE PAST MONTH, I MAY HAVE LOST TRACK.

Can you tell us a bit about any up and coming work you are doing? Like your work on resident evil 5?

I PLAY ALBERT WESKER IN THE NEW RE5 GAME. GOOD LUCK TRYING TO KILL ME! IMA BAD MO FO! HAHA! CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE ON MYSPACE FOR SOME BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS FROM THE SHOOT. I WILL POST MORE INTERVIEWS AND PICS THERE, FROM RE5 AS CAPCOM RELEASES THEM.

caps and follow up

Most word processing programs (like Microsoft Word or Word Perfect) have a function (usually under the Format menu) where you can change the case--that way you can change the text from all caps to sentence case. Then just spot check for mistakes. Also, RBF, you might want to ask Ken a follow-up question about Heroes Unmasked. As it reads right now, you ask him about it, he tells you he doesn't know what it is, and then you move on to the next question. Grammar

There are a few errors in his grammar that make some sentences mean different things. "IT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY TO SEE WHEN LEGITIMATELY NICE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE SUCCESS. THERE ARE MANY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE, WHO ARE VERY NICE AT ALL." Shouldn't it be "There are many successful people, who [aren't] very nice at all."? There are a few others too, but I'm just wondering if you guys want to leave it confusing or fix it first. Stexe 03:31, 15 October 2008 (EDT)
