Assuming Samson Gray was responsible for killing her, it would add to the reasons why Hiro traveled back in time to meet her and attend her funeral. - There is no connection between Hiro and Samson Gray so the above makes no sense. - The woman who killed Barbie was put in the electric chair.
Samson Gray has an ability to control animals.
