It's possible that Mohinder's grandmother is Mrs. Suresh's mother, not Chandra's. (For that matter, it's fairly likely, given Indian naming conventions, that Chandra's wife isn't "Mrs. Suresh", but since Mohinder and Chandra have a Western-style names (with a family name instead of a patronymic prefix name), it's probably a safe enough guess.)--Hardvice (talk) 00:15, 6 January 2007 (EST)

• Actually, since they're Tamils, it's fairly likely her name is "Mrs. Chandra". (It should be "Mrs. Suresh", but only because Chandra Suresh's given name should be Suresh, not Chandra.) But then again, neither Mohinder nor Chandra have Tamil-style names (which is odd because "Suresh" is a male given name, not a gotra).--Hardvice (talk) 00:46, 6 January 2007 (EST)

Parentage

Just for the record ... There's a small possibility Mohinder's grandmother might be the mother of Mrs. Suresh, not Chandra Suresh. As well, there's a possibility Hana's grandmother might be her paternal grandmother, not maternal grandmother. That said, there's minor evidence to support the lineages we purport: Mohinder's grandmother and Chandra disagree over science/relgion, and they are mentioned in succession. Hana's grandmother and Zahava get on a bus together, and are mentioned in succession. Not hard evidence, but rather compelling. ...
