Rooijker is the father of David Roojker, now known as Richard Drucker, a key person in the founding of the internet.

Heroes Evolutions
A Global News Interactive Video report reveals that when the Nazis captured Ruth Meisner in a forest, Rooijker found their son left for dead and he then smuggled him into Spain and left him on the steps of the Monastery of the Cross. After the war ended, Rooijker did not return to pick up his son, and has never been heard of since.
