Years ago, Mr. Bennet took Claude to the bridge to kill. After shooting him twice, Claude turns invisible and falls over the edge. In current time, Mr. Bennet and Claire drive to the middle of the bridge, where The Haitian waits. After Claire says her final goodbye to her dad, The Haitian shoots Mr. Bennet just below the left side of his ribcage, and erases his memory, to deceive the Agency Without Initials into thinking Mr. Bennet was attacked and Claire was abducted.
