Scenic Route

This is a significant location (the main location, in fact) in the GN Scenic Route. NileQT87 21:11, 26 September 2009 (EDT)

  • Where does it say that the graphic novel takes place in Carlsbad? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:38, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
    • The Cavern Theater, the Pecos River and ESPECIALLY the Carlsbad Caverns are dead giveaways. The Cavern Theater is the building that tipped me off and confirmed my suspicion that it was the Carlsbad Caverns (hence the name "Cavern" Theater). Also, the Carlsbad Caverns are famous in the United States. It's an extremely famous landmark, just like the Washington Monument and Pyramid Arena shown in the same comic. Most of the GN is in Carlsbad. It's also good to note that Carlsbad is in New Mexico and Alex Woolsly was supposed to go to Albuquerque. NileQT87 21:51, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
      • The Carslbad Caverns aren't in Carlsbad, NM. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:54, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
        • You might want to check Wikipedia, because they certainly are. I recommend that you research before you keep nominating it because you simply don't know. [[1]] NileQT87 21:58, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
          • The article you linked to says that the caverns are 18 miles away from Carlsbad. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:00, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
            • And the town that Alex Woolsly is running away from agents in is Carlsbad (see: Cavern Theater--that's a specific location). Also, there's a reason that the Carlsbad Caverns are called CARLSBAD. It's the nearest town and the town which gave the caverns their name. Carlsbad Caverns are in a National Park just outside of town, but it's still part of Carlsbad. NileQT87 22:04, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
