Talk:Create Your Hero
Do you think there should be an article on "Create Your Hero", the promotional character-creation process on the NBC website? --DocM 09:41, 1 December 2007 (EST)
- Yes. I've been planning on making one for a while now...--Hero!(talk)(contribs) 12:06, 1 December 2007 (EST)
Disambig?
Now we have two Audreys; is a disambig page necessary? BTW, who are you going to vote for? Santiago or Audrey?--Referos 19:11, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- I don't think a disambig is necessary until they actually become characters. Let's wait until after the vote to see what happens...I voted for Audrey--I think it'd be interesting to see her dark side. I think it's always more interesting to have an ability that affects others than one which only affects oneself. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:15, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- Basically what Ryan said, I considered adding them as notable residents to their respective places, but then I decided that they weren't actually that notable - yet. Also, I went with Audrey as well. -- Lulu (talk) 19:21, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- I went with Audrey as well. I sense a pattern. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:35, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- Makes sense; if Santiago wins, Audrey will probably cease to exist. Oh, and I voted for her, too :)--Referos 19:49, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- Audrey. Santiago seems like the new Maya. --Hero!(talk)(contribs)
- And Audrey sounds like the new...oh wait, Audrey sounds like a pretty cool new character. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:07, 4 February 2008 (EST)

- Well, I break ranks with yous guys, I voted for Santiago. Reasons: good person, power that is easy to understand, blue collar kind of guy, cant lose!--SacValleyDweller (talk) 23:46, 4 February 2008 (EST)
Artist

Any idea who the artist is who created these? Here's the signature... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:37, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- The signature appears to me to read as "Tnerd 2007". Not sure if that helps.--MiamiVolts (talk) 21:45, 4 February 2008 (EST)
Who is the better potential character?
Just for laughs, anyone willing to tell who they voted for and why?--SacValleyDweller (talk) 22:27, 4 February 2008 (EST)
- See above--I think five of us have voted for Audrey so far, and nobody for Santiago. Hmmm... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:05, 4 February 2008 (EST)
Previous Options?
Does anybody have information from the previous voting options? -Lөvөl 03:03, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Nothing specific, just from memory. Some others that I was missing included how smart the character was and I think whether the character was good or evil, but I really can't remember specifically. There were more options related to the ability, too. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:00, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Does this help for week one? I can't remember what all the symbols stood for... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:39, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- So is "Current locale" in Week 1?--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:45, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- I don't think so. I think week one is just the three attributes that are listed in the screenshot linked above. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:05, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- So is "Current locale" in Week 1?--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:45, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- One of the options for Traumatic Event was "Disaster".--Referos 13:38, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Update to what I think the options were until week 4...--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:54, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Hey guys. I found this link fortunately. You can click on the bottom buttons to see each option. Anyone want to make screencaps / transcribe each week? That'd be awesome! http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/create_your_hero/results.shtml?section=1 --Heroes360 19:27, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Interesting, while I was voting, there were only 3 options per week... as there were when I just looked up the results. Who else got four choices per week instead of 3? Shane 04:23, 6 February 2008 (EST)
- I just finished transcribing the results and formatting them. We normally don't post screencaps of the games, and I think they are unnecessary for Create Your Hero except for the final drawings which we already have. Thanks Heroes360 for tracking down the link!--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:22, 6 February 2008 (EST)
- Great work tracking and writing down the info! However, the curent formating makes the data hard to read. Might that be fixed such that the columns are narrower, with 4 columns made thusly:
Male hero | Birth place | body type | appearance | (mobile) Current locale

Results
- Female Hero: Place of Birth: Europe; Appearance: Exotic; Body Type: Medium; Age: 14-18; Area Raised: Suburbs; Upbringing: Poor; Intelligence Level: Street Smart; High School Label: No one ever noticed; Profession: Still in School; Ability: Effects speed of people; Reaction to Ability: Hide it; Disposition: Abigiuous leaning Good.
- Male Hero: Place of Birth: The Americas; Appearance: Rugged; Body Type: Large; Age: 18-25; Aread Raised: Suburbs; Upbringing: Poor; Intelligence Level: Street Smart; High School Label: No one ever noticed; Profession: Still in School; Ability: Superior Physical Speed; Reaction to Ability: Hide it; Disposition: Good.
- Almost identical characters, and kinda on the 'lame options' side. I voted for Audrey because... uh... she's more ambiguous? I just wish that the options were more different, and that one of the characters were "evil" and "get revenge." Shane 04:08, 6 February 2008 (EST)
Columns
You would have to use a manual column break instead of {{appearancecolumn}} whith uses 25%. -Lөvөl 16:19, 6 February 2008 (EST)
- Or we could make the width of the appearancecolumn template variable. Anyways, I fixed it with 26% for the first column, 25% for the other two and some non-break dash (‑) and space ( ) codes.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:58, 6 February 2008 (EST)
- I added the new width option to the template and switched this page to use it instead of the non-break codes.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:18, 6 February 2008 (EST)
Current Locale
- Assuming Audrey is the person chosen, we know she lives in Europe yet her current locale is supposed to be the Americas... it should be interesting to learn why she's come to the Americas, and where exactly in the Americas she travels. I doubt she came to get supplies for her parent's bakery...--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:37, 6 February 2008 (EST)
