This wiki is a XML full dump clone of "Heroes Wiki", the main wiki about the Heroes saga that has been shut down permanently since June 1, 2020. The purpose of this wiki is to keep online an exhaustive and accurate database about the franchise.

I'm going to create a wiki page, then steal all the HTML, and put it into the file that has the DIV element that allows Google Maps commands. The net result is to mimic wiki in a hard-coded html page, so the users will not see the difference. --Orne 16:25, 12 November 2006 (EST)
- At this point I'd just suggest you setup the map however you want on your end and then just link to it from here as an external link. I was looking at some Google Maps extensions and I have a problem with them that they include the Google Maps javascript on all pages. I don't want an external dependency like that on all page loads because anytime Google's site has issues it will affect this wiki. If I could get JavaScript to work on only specific pages I would, but it looks like if I can at all it's a global setting and that's no good. So instead of messing with it just to get a Google map working (which I'm not entirely sure how useful it will end up being) I'd say just include it as an external link on the map page.
