Claire's Dreams

Claire finds herself having a similar case of deja vu.

About

Claire has a series of dreams that constantly haunt her. These dreams occur around the time after the plane crashes and Sylar resists his ability and becomes Gabriel again.

Claire's First Dream

The redeemed Gabriel creeps into Claire's room, causing her to wake. She sees him in the shadows and questions if it's him (Gabriel). Gabriel sighs and answers, "No. My name is Sylar." Sylar pins Claire to the wall with his telekinesis and starts choking her, until she passes out. The next morning, Claire wakes up and finds Gabriel's room empty. She goes downstairs and sees Peter, telling him about what Gabriel had said last night. Peter only says that he had warned her about trusting Gabriel. Sylar walks in at that moment, his arms covered in blood. Peter walks away, leaving Claire and Sylar to talk. Claire asks why Gabriel did this and starts crying. Gabriel replies that the Hunger was too hard to ignore. Sylar then shoves Claire against the wall and starts cutting a line across her forehead. Claire screams and tries to fight back, but to no avail. Sylar calmly says to his struggling captive, "Goodbye, Claire."

After the First Dream

Claire woke up from her nightmare and felt her forehead, relieved when there is no blood. There is a knock on her door and Gabriel's voice came through, "Claire, I heard you screaming. Let me in." Claire shook her head and pulled legs up to her chest, crying. Gabriel rammed the door down, saw the crying Claire, and immediately asked, "Claire, what's wrong?" Claire pushed Gabriel away and in between sobs, explains her dream to him. She tells Gabriel to leave and sits on her bed, staring at the wall, silent tears falling down her face.
