About NileQT87

I'm just a crazy nerd. I might as well marry my computer. I do things that only truly bored individuals do.

A warning right here: I'm weird. I have Asperger's Syndrome. I live in a very eccentric world in my mind. It's likely the average person will be a little too put off by the ...obsessive nature of my Asperger's. Don't judge me until you understand me.

"Before you abuse, criticize or accuse, walk a mile in my shoes..."

I love to listen to Elvis Presley and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

My favorite shows are Angel: the Series, Heroes, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Roswell, Bones, Dollhouse, I Love Lucy, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, The Addams Family, The Munsters, Happy Days, Family Ties and various Fox News shows.

My favorite movies include Amadeus, Freaks, American Graffiti, The Sound of Music, Boys Town, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Elvis: That's the Way It Is, Elvis on Tour, Jailhouse Rock, Live a Little, Love A Little, The Blues Brothers, National Lampoon's Animal House, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Hocus Pocus, The Wizard of Oz, Babes in Toyland (a.k.a. March of the Wooden Soldiers), Meet Me in St. Louis, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Princess Bride, Grease, Young Frankenstein, Disney's Peter Pan, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Disney's Sleeping Beauty and many more.

Heroes

I got into Heroes after seeing Star Trek (2009) with Zachary Quinto and fell in love his portrayal of Spock. Because of this, I just had to see him play Sylar in Heroes. I had seen Homecoming way back in 2006 due to the "Save the cheerleader, save the world" campaign, but had not kept up with the show. I do remember first seeing a lengthy preview for Heroes in the summer of 2006 when I was coming home from my trip to 12 countries in Europe (a flight from Athens, Greece to Atlanta, Georgia). Being a Joss Whedon fan, I remember people drawing a lot of comparisons between Buffy and Claire. I then marathoned the then 3 seasons within a week in the summer of 2009.
