  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

afd tag

Please stop removing the afd tag from the article about Carlsbad. It is there so others can discuss the proposed deletion. A conversation about the article does not take place in a span of time that is less than an hour. Removing the tag doesn't allow others to weigh in on the decision to keep or delete the article. Please do not remove it again until a resolution is reached in the discussion. Thank you. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:57, 26 September 2009 (EDT)

Coyote Sands

While a good theory, the "extra bits" don't confirm that Samuel was born there or that any of the Sullivans were ever there so I reverted your edit.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:26, 5 November 2009 (EST)

  • Nile, you have added information in a few places about Samuel being born in Coyote Sands. This is not confirmed, and should not be placed anywhere other than on theory pages. Thank you. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:44, 10 November 2009 (EST)
    • I did that long before I saw you saying that you didn't want it. Though spoilers in next week's preview video regarding Mohinder and Samuel kind of confirm it. NileQT87 22:19, 10 November 2009 (EST)
      • And spoiler information is not to be added to any non spoiler page until the info is released through any official channel. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 11:12, 11 November 2009 (EST)

You are editing the memorable quotes, which people have gone over many times. And because many user want to fix the quotes, it ends up being corrected, so there is no point in changing them. And the sentence was [something ...mostly.] There was ... there, making it lower case. And yes, some quotes aren't memorable, but others have decided to have them there, and know one has ever not agreed to remove them.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 10:51, 6 November 2009 (EST)

  • People just put in quotes they like. "Agree" might be too strong of a word. And it still remains a grammar nightmare. There's two ways to do the "...mostly" or "Mostly." thing. Which was completely besides the point of the edit. It wasn't even important. The rest was. And 14 quotes was too many. It's a huge chunk of the page. 5 or 6 quotes is appropriate and even my edit took it down to more than that. NileQT87 10:54, 6 November 2009 (EST)
    • Ok, 5 or 6 is fine. And yes, I always see users enter in a quote to have it taken out. That's why when everything is settled and no one feels the need to edit the section, we should just let be. That's why I am reverting your edits. If anything was wrong, believe me, somebody else would have fixed it. But no one has edited it for a while.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 10:58, 6 November 2009 (EST)
      • 8 quotes is better than 14. And yes. The grammar as it currently stands is horrendous. People just haven't noticed, apparently. For one thing, it's loaded with visual instructions in parentheses, which looks sloppy. In fact, if you want to edit again, remove quotes, not add! NileQT87 11:01, 6 November 2009 (EST)

Links at List of evolved humans

Hi. None of the links that you added at List of evolved humans are needed, since the articles don't exist and have little to do with Heroes. --Radicell 04:34, 9 November 2009 (EST)

  • Also, the template automatically links to the power and city article if they exist, no need to put [[hyperlinks]] on them. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:56, 10 November 2009 (EST)

Slow Burn images

Hey Nile. How did you get such good quality on those Slow Burn webisode images you just uploaded? I can't seem to get the quality any better than the ones I've uploaded. :( -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:13, 2 December 2009 (EST)

  • I took captures using the computer's print screen feature on the NBC site (the highest quality footage I could find), used one pass of sharpening and a filter for Photoshop called Xpose! (from Little Ink Pot) that allows you to play with contrast levels (brighten, enrich/overdrive shadows, highlights) much better than any of the built-in Photoshop filters. That filter is my best friend. But yeah, the NBC site is a zillion times sharper than any YouTuber has managed to convert their rips to. NileQT87 01:20, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Hey, Nile. How would you like to be a patroller here? Take a look at Heroes Wiki:Patrollers and see if it's something you'd like to do. If so, reply back to my talk page. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:26, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Sorry, I couldn't help myself, but you're the first girl I found on heroeswiki! I've been on for about a month, and I was feeling kinda lonely. This is sort of weird, because when I first started watching Heroes, I thought it was female oriented, but I logged on here and I was like whoa, I'm the minority. You don't have to respond to this if you don't want to (I'm probably coming off as crazy stalker) but I really couldn't help myself. Nice to meet you! ;) --Dance4thedead 21:01, 21 February 2010 (EST)

  • The wiki is very male dominant. (We welcome all, but not all take to it!) There are a lot more female fans over at :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:34, 21 February 2010 (EST)
    • It's funny because I never even noticed that this place was particularly male. It seemed pretty genderless, actually, because it's not really a forum. Though I seem to be one of the bigger Sylar fangirls around here. I actually have posted on a lot of forums that end up being pretty male-centric (hilarious on the Elvis boards due to the fact that it was his screaming female fans that got him all that attention). But I'm not easily run off! NileQT87 03:22, 24 February 2010 (EST)
