Ability channeling is the ability to take abilities from evolved humans and transfer them to other people.

With this ability, Shayne Lewis could transfer abilities from an evolved human to someone else. This was mostly used to take abilities away from evolved humans who use their abilities to harm others and give them to someone else. This typically left the victim completely powerless, though he could transfer the victim's ability back to them or even give them another ability at any time. This ability allows him to use any of the abilities he has absorbed until he transfers them to someone else.
