Welcome
- FYI In your summary welcoming Noodle Juice... even though he's a friend of yours, that's a rather offensive term to others so you'd be better off not using it here. (Admin 20:05, 2 June 2007 (EDT))
- Yeah, I don't know what it means in France but here it means a gay person.... --Heroe!(talk) (contribs) 20:09, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- Ahah this remember me when american's got offensed when Janet Jackson's boop showed up at the superbowl! That's funny how ppl get offensed for nothing and in other hand do the most horrible thing you can ever imagine.. Well, I'm not going to argue we don't care! I won't do this anymore don't call the cops :) Or at least tell them to record so that I will be on Cop's -_- ... Regards, --
(talk) 20:15, 2 June 2007 (EDT) - ps : I didn't know it meaned "gay" I thought it was more like morron or... stupid something like that. Sorry for the gay community I don't have anything against you peoples :) --
(talk) 20:17, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- You may have also inadvertently offended the
boopboob community. RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:32, 2 June 2007 (EDT)- I have to confess I hesitated before writing down boob but I don't know any other words to say this exept "chest" that isn't pretty accurate... :) I wish my english teacher (the cute one) learned me how to say that! --

Français
- Salut Flo !

Hey there
By the way, it's good to have you back. It was quiet without you around. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:00, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
Button
Glad you like the button. I like how you've modified it! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:16, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
- Hehe thanks, thought you wouldn't mind if I stole it. Btw, to see the button like I designed it, you've to use Firefox. IE doesn't know pseudoCSS -moz-border and text-decoration:blink. My only regrets with this button is that the link provided doesn't allow you to leave a summary. I searched how to add this but I didn't find. I think it has something to do with the php formular GET method, maybe something like
Don't know :) --
(talk) 10:24, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
- I don't know either. The summary for a new comment is the just the comment. So if I were to start a new comment on your page and use the heading or title "Monkey Knees", then the summary would also be "Monkey Knees". But I don't usually leave a summary for talk pages, so it doesn't bother me at all....By the way, I use Firefox at home, and IE at work. The button just looks like a rectangle on IE, which looks fine. I'll check it out when I get home. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:37, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
- Hehe ok! Using FF, it has rounded corner (-moz-border CSS attribute) and the text blink. :) --

For our resident Frenchman...
Thought you might be interested in this. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:49, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah I know, thanks for the link. You know, if I wasn't student, and had money, I would have pleasure to pay for an Heroes episode, I love to have officaly things I like. But you know how this is ... no money... torrent.. Hum ! I should probably shut up otherwise I'll end in jail. :) --

You dont watch Heroes anymore?
- I'm just double checking what you want to say in your userpage, since English isn't your native language. Your usage of the term "Used to Watch" leads me to believe that you don't watch Heroes, or the other shows in the list, anymore because you dont like it, or some other reason other than that you are waiting for Season 2 to air. I used to watch The Simpsons, but I don't now because I no longer like the show. I watch Heroes, but I am not watching it because I am waiting for Season 2 to air. (SacValleyDweller 16:18, 3 September 2007 (EDT))
- No, that's probably a misstake of mine.. My userpage is outdated, I mean, my english is supposed to be better know hehe, so I probably should rewrite the entire page.. I actually continue to follow Heroes just like you all, I'm waiting for season two to begin. :] ps : I still love the simpsons :) --

- LOL probably. More help in your quest for English fluency: mistake, not misstake; I know your english is better now;) --SacValleyDweller 17:56, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

TOEIC
Congratulations! You've come a long way! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:42, 7 September 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, congratulations. :) (Admin 14:44, 7 September 2007 (EDT))
- Thanks ! I'm proud to say that I learned english watching tv shows and mostly, by reading this wiki :] Thanks to all of you :) French English teachers are so lame.. we don't learn anything.. expect grammar, which is cool but if you don't have any word... that's kinda useless.. By the way, something is weird, I was thinking when editing my user page that you wouldn't know the TOEIC since it's your native language, you shouldn't care. So do you know what is it and or you say "gratz" because of the score I had ? --
(talk) 14:50, 7 September 2007 (EDT)
- I'm not familiar with the exam, but you explained that it was essentially a test of your English skills and that you did well on it, so that's a good reason to be congratulated. :) (Admin 14:54, 7 September 2007 (EDT))
- I'm more familiar with the TOEFL since a lot of my friends in Albania would study for it and ask me questions all the time. I'm not familiar with TOEIC. But you should be commended on a good score, on greatly improved language skills, and on doing well on a test that, if it's anything like the test I had to take to prove my proficiency in Albanian, must be a difficult test. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:09, 7 September 2007 (EDT)

Re: Google Translations
We're talking here about the Google translations. Have you used google at all to do translating to/from French and do you know if anyone else is? We're curious as to your opinion.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:37, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

- Hey there. The links that look like [[de:]] or [[fr:]] are interwiki links to articles on the translated versions of Heroes Wiki. Taco's an administrator over on the German Heroes Wiki so he's adding links to our articles so that on the left side it will say "In other languages" and German will be an option. Hope that helps! :) (Admin 16:39, 16 October 2007 (EDT))
