Absorption - to absorb and suppress the attacking ability; i.e. flame throwing, you would through skin contact absorb the flame and would drain the persons ability to produce the flame and heal yourself
Accelerate - to speed yourself or up to a 10 foot radius around yourself
Accelerated Healing - to heal yourself rapidly from any injury, but only yourself.
Acid Manipulation - to create, control, and manipulate acids
Adherance Manipulation - to create and manipulate an odorless tasteless clearish-blue gel-like substance that is like glue, also when giving blood or bleeding this substance may be mixed in your blood
Aerokinesis - Control, generate, and absorb, air or wind
Age Manipulation - to alter the age of something or someone without moving them through time, such as withering plants or turning someone young again
Alchemy - to change one thing into another thing, ie straw into gold, etc.
Amphibian Manipulation - to communicate and control amphibians ie frogs salamanders etc
Amplification - to increase or enhance an ability of another person or those within a ten foot radius of you
Animal Speak - to telepathically talk to animals, summon animals to you, or talk verbally to them and understand them
Animagus - to transform into a single animal form, or take on physical characteristics of that single animal form without fully transforming, summon animals of your animal form to you, speak to them either telepathically or verbally. The animagi animal form differs in each individual, some have even been known to have amphibian(ie frogs) or avian (ie birds) animal forms. Animagi transform during the middle night (second night) of the full moon (full moons last 3 nights) without willing to do so and will remain in their animal form until dawn, however they do not become 'animalistic or beast-like' and retain their 'humanity' even in animal form.
Animorph - to transform into any animal at will, this does include now extinct animals (but not reptiles so no dinos, please). Though that may not always be the case.
Animation - Bring inanimate objects to life, control and move the objects, and free a person from petrification
Aqua Strength - to breathe under water, and gain superhuman speed and strength as long as you keep hydrated, as soon as you lose hydration or go without water you start to lose your abilities and if you go longer you might die of dehydration more easily than normal folks
Artesia - to absorb or disgorge water, you can take hydrogen and oxygen from the air and create water and spray, shoot, or force it out of your body in some way, and can also absorb water from an existing source by touch, however you can only hold a certain amount of the water at any given time or it could overload your system and cause a faint or coma depending on severity of water retention, so if you absorb more than your body can hold you must release it
Astral Projection - to leave your current physical body and create a duplicate of yourself in another area without being there, can be either a physical form or astral (ghost-like) form of yourself
Aura Reading - to see the energy fields that emanate from all living beings, whether emotionally based or otherwise. Also able to see the invisible, see through illusions, and see other energies that are invisible to the normal naked human eye
Aurora - to create and manipulate a glow or a beam of colored light by using bio-energy, absorbing too much energy from a single person or creature can put that person or creature into a temporary coma while they recover, in attack form this can be used to blind your attacker, or in defense to hide your escape
Beast - Superhuman Agility, Intellect, and acrobatic skills. Also you can climb almost any thing that has wedges. i.e. Brick walls, trees
Bedazzler - to convert sound waves into light in a variety of ways including laser blasts, a light shield, and hypnotizing lights, ie the Dazzler ability. They can also develop the ability to create hard light for use in a physical attack or to fool electronic sensors. Release a huge blast of light to temporarily stun and blind those around oneself, however leaving oneself dazed and drained as well
Biokinesis - to Heal, alter body composition and other things relating to the human body.
Blending - to change skin and clothing and anything your might be holding to blend in with surroundings around you, much like a chameleon
Blinking - to blink and show up in another place; a form of teleportation
Blue Flame - to produce a blue colored flame from the hands and fingers that is so cold it burns, ie freezer burn, and freezes things it touches to the point of brittleness, and you have a resistance to cold especially on your hands
Bond Manipulation - to manipulate the emotional bonds between people, ie a mother and her child, a couple of lovers, a group of best friends. You can psychically detect or see (like a nearly invisible thread that connects or bonds people together that only you can see) the emotional bonds (this isn't the empath ability you can't detect emotion or understand it but can physically see the actual bond that forms between people) and manipulate it, strengthen it, break it, weaken it, or alter it, making friends fall in love, making a mother feel nothing for her son. However this only works if the bond is a connection between two or more people. For example if a girl has a crush on a guy and he doesn't feel anything for her then there isn't a bond there that is easily detectable making it nearly impossible for you to find the 'bond thread' to alter or manipulate. (not to say it can't be possible but it might take an amplifier to give a boost to your ability to do it) And hate is not the opposite of love, hate is an emotional bond, and therefore is also something you can manipulate, the only thing you can't manipulate is apathy as it is the absence of emotion.
Bone Manipulation- to manipulate the bones in your body. This includes but is not limited to, the generation of new bone mass, projecting bones out from your skin or rearranging your own bones, and has the added ability of accelerated healing in order to heal yourself.
Caffeine Secretion - you can secrete a clear gel like substance that is pure caffeine, you must be careful as lengthy exposure of this gel to other people may cause them to have caffeine poisoning which will make them extremely sick but not kill them usually.
Catwoman/Catman - Cat-like reflexes and agility, fingernails can grow into claws.
Chronokinesis - to stop time or slow motion down of everything in a hundred foot radius around you
Clairaudience - to hear events taking place elsewhere, like eavesdropping without actually being anywhere near where a conversation is taking place.
Clairvoyance - to see events taking place elsewhere, your eyes might appear to become vague, like you are in a trance, but you will see something going on elsewhere at the present time; ie you pause in a walk and your eyes go blurry and then you can suddenly clearly see the image of a car running a stop sign three blocks away.
Combustion - to make explosions with combustible materials or EMPs with electrical energy, or explode yourself and reform, also has the ability to withstand various explosions and a resistance to energy based attacks.
Confectionkinesis - to turn anything, including people, into candy creations with a touch, simply concentrate on a type of candy, and touch something and it will transform, the transformation is reversible, but otherwise permanent, and the animation ability can override this and reanimate whom or whatever you've turned into candy
Conjuring - to think of an object or person and call it to you, a form of teleportation, but you can't teleport to something but rather bring it to you.
Contagion - to create, manipulate, and control any type of contagion whether viral or bacterial
Crucio - to Mentally or Psychically torture others, causing them to feel physical pain without actually physically touching them, to mess with their minds and make them hallucinate, to cause migraines, etc.
Cryokinesis - to Freeze (in case in ice)/ unfreeze objects using your mind, hand or breath. Unfreezing requires more skill
Cupid - to know exactly who people are meant for or who they are compatible with, to see the potential of love or lust or friendship, like a matchmaking sixth sense of sorts.
Cyberkinesis - This ability differs from technokinesis in that it is a manipulation of cyber waves instead of technology. The user acts as their own internet hub, allowing them to sift through the internet in their mind. Furthermore, they can manipulate existing waves and create their own, giving them the ability to communicate with any computer on the fly, regardless of if it has a working internet connection. (think of a highly powerful wireless net connection in ones head)
Dazzler - to turn sonic vibrations(sound) into various types of light. Generate illumination, create mild holograms, emit pulses or strobes of light to blind and disorient others with simplistic light forms
Decelerate - to slow yourself or the area up to a 10 foot radius around yourself
Deflection - to deflect another's power back at the sender, basically like holding up a mirror that bounces an attack away from yourself.
Desire - control what someone else wishes, wants, longs, lusts, and craves for. This starts off with skin or eye contact, you can see in your mind all a person's desires, and then alter or manipulate those desires; ie causing someone craving chocolate to crave prunes instead.
Discordia - the ability to manipulate anger to cause various effects, they can also instinctively know a person's pet-peeves, triggers of anger and frustration.
Draconism - the ability to morph into a six foot or less tall winged dragon, the dragon scales are impervious to elemental attacks, the wings allow you to fly, the claws allow you to pierce stone, and you can spew fire out of your mouth while in dragon form
Dream Manipulation - to communicate, control, manipulate, and invade a persons dream and the dream world, with added strange side-effect of you not needing as much sleep as a normal person in order to function.
Duplication - Create physical Doppelgangers of yourself, fully functional and controlled by yourself.
Earth Manipulation - To control the classic element of earth; Sand, Stone, Rock, Lava or Dirt.
Elasticity - Ability to stretch, deform, expand and contract ones body like a rubber band.
Electrical Transportation - Convert oneself into conductive energy and travel through electrical lines, or cables, or lightning.
Electricity Manipulation - to control and generate lightning/electricity, and to cause your body to become electricity.
Electrokinesis - Control, generate and absorb Electrical fields/ This also goes for lightning and EMPs and bio and psychic energy.
Elemental Manipulation - Control and manipulate the elements; earth, air, fire, water
Elemental Resistance - to be virtually impervious to the elements such as heat, fire, cold, freezing, water, drowning, earth, sand blasting, etc.
Empath - Sense people's emotions and see or understand the reason for those feelings, or even manipulate a persons emotions.
Emokinesis (Emotion Manipulation) - can be described as using one's mind to telepathically change responses or alter the brain to affect the emotions of oneself or others. With a well focused thought, one could make a brave man panic, or cause a girl to suddenly bust out laughing for no apparent reason. And with it comes the empath ability as well.
Emotional Vampire - to feed off of the emotions of others. Particularly strongly felt emotions such as love or hate. The energy gained from this emotional feeding grants you superhuman strength and reflexes, though it comes with an irresistible hunger for more.
Energy Blasts - to send out blasts of energy you absorb from around yourself causing things to move out of your way and knock things over like a shockwave.
Energy Constructs - to create complex shapes; similar to force fields but far more intricate, such as nets or traps or shields or weapons all made from energy absorbed from around yourself, any kind of energy.
Energy Manipulation - Control and Generate various forms of energy, whether its light, dark, electric, psychic, or bio.
Eraser - erase the memories from a person's mind, or from an area, leaving Postcog's and Precog's unable to use their abilities.
Euphoria/Psychadelic - to secrete an odorless, tasteless, colorless highly absorbable liquid drug that when it comes in contact with people or animals will cause a euphoria or drunken-like effect temporarily.
Exchange- to temporarily transfer the brain of two other people by touching them simultaneously and activating it. (Example: John touched Mike and Sarah and activated his ability, now Mike's body had Sarah's brain, and Sarah's body had Mike's brain. Now the two could find out what it was like to be a guy trapped in a girl's body and vice versa.) Or you can transfer just part of the brain, such as the section related to a person's ability, essentially switching two people's ability. Though the effects of this ability are only temporary, it usually requires the two affected by it to go to sleep in order to switch back on it's own.
Fae - Also known as Fairy, is a form of morphing where the individual can morph into a tiny (foot high at the tallest) creature with human-like features but insect or butterfly like wings and fly around. In this fae-form they can secrete a sparkling dust commonly called fairy dust. Fairy dust can be collected and stored however it begins to lose potency throughout the day and disappears completely within 24 hours. Fairy dust can appear to be teeny tiny common sparkles, like what humans use for art projects only more finely ground like a powdery dust. It acts as an amplifier for magic and abilities. Hence those with abilities who are sprinkled with fairy dust will get a boost in their ability's power and strength. And those who use magic, ie mystics, spell casters, and such, can use fairy dust in their spells to enhance the strength of them. Fairy dust is a rare item since it can only be secreted by someone with the fae ability while they are in their fae-form, and even then there is only so much fairy dust they can produce before they would pass out and revert to human-form so that they could replenish the body's resources they lost in the production of the dust. After the individual reverts back to their human-form they may have some problems with inner balance and seem a bit klutzy and if they produced any measurable amount of dust they will suffer from extreme hunger for sweets, most especially natural sweets such as honey and fruits, as their body tries to replenish what it lost. Fae also have a form of mild plant animation which they can wield in either human or fae form, this is not manipulation but rather animation, meaning they can make plants move or seem animated but can not make them grow or change them in other ways.
Fear Manipulation - to identify and know people's fears and manipulate or alter them; ie making someone afraid of the dark suddenly no longer afraid of the dark.
Fish Morphing - the ability to morph into any type of fish that exists or may have existed at one time on this planet, however it is highly recommended you not use your ability until in the water as you may be unable to breath normally when you morph and have gills
Flame Throwing - You can shoot out flames or fireballs from your hands and feet, but you cannot control the flames so much as shoot them out.
flammable Secretion - the ability to secrete a liquid that is highly flammable but non-gaseous, meaning that if a spark or flame touches the liquid it will burn like an accelerant, but it has no fumes and can't cause an explosion, you have an immunity to fire attacks and heat but any of the flammable fluid on your skin will burn, which wont harm you, but will burn away anything you are wearing and anything you are touching
Flight/Levitation - Lift off the ground and fly self propelled through the air without wings by simply thinking about doing so.
Flora - to sprout blossoms of various kinds in or on any surface, you can't control them as a plant manipulator can, and they will wither and die without the proper things needed to grow, but this can be used as a useful weapon of visual impairment if directed at another living thing
Force Fields - Energy shield, often invisible produced as a form of protection, like a protective bubble around yourself that nothing can penetrate
Freeze Wave - the ability to manipulate cold of the air around you with varying effects, or to send out a short wave of extreme cold from yourself, and has a resistance to ice attacks and an immunity to cold
Gargoyle - to transform into a gargoyle which is a monstrous creature with stone-like armored skin and dragon-like wings with which they can fly and enhanced strength
Glamour - to Charm and attract or cast an illusion over oneself and become the object of someone else's desire, to make yourself seem glamorous even when you are at your frumpiest.
Glass Manipulation - you can create, manipulate, and ingest glass or sand, you are resistant to heat and fire attacks as is the glass you create, and are resistant to small slices or cuts as you have a accelerated healing ability, you can also while creating the glass in your body change the pigmentation and shape and design of it, but you can only create pieces of glass no larger than 5 inches as you have to force it out of your body at some point without killing yourself, people with this ability can shoot out glass fragments and manipulate the trajectory while the fragments are in motion, some of them also occasionally suffer some discomfort or annoyance because of their body producing glass that comes to the surface of the skin even when they are not using their ability and may need a daily medicine to suppress this unwanted discomfort
Gorgon - to sprout two sharp fangs, your upper canine incisors turn into fangs, and when you bite you can inject a mild hallucinogenic substance into your victim, which will cause them to see things or act inebriated and may last as long a full day before it wears off, after effects of the gorgon venom can be as mild as a headache or as sever as a horrid hangover. You can also change your legs, from the hips down, into a snake-like form and slither rapidly rather than walk or run. You can also communicate with snakes, have an invulnerability to snake venoms, and can change your vision to infrared
Gravitokinesis - to manipulate or generate gravitons, or other types of gravitational interactions; gravity is what keeps us anchored to the earth it's a force that weighs us down, this ability allows you to alter the gravitational forces on everything.
Grim Reaper - to know how, when, and where a person will die, possibly a form of precognition, even when things occur to alter the pattern of what you are able to envision you can still predict it, you also can predict near-death experiences, and can occasionally hear the voices of ghosts but are unable to communicate with them
Hair Growth Manipulation - to manipulate the growth of hair of any type, either enhancing (make it grow) or inhibiting (make it not grow or stop growing) on nearly any surface whether it is people, animals, or tables and chairs.
Hair Manipulation - to control ones hair, be it severed or not, can animate it, make it tough as steel, etc. ie they cut your hair at the beauty shop and you made your hair laying on the floor start to dance around scaring everyone.
Harpie - to transform into a creature that is part eagle, the entire head turns into an eagle form complete with eagle eye vision, wings sprout from the shoulders, hands and feet turn into talons, but the torso remains human.
Healer - To heal, there are no known limitations to what (ie plants, people, animals) or how (major or minor wounds) a healer can heal, all limitations are on an individual basis and how practiced the healer, but in most cases it takes time or repeated exposure to heal major wounds. Death is not curable.
Heat Wave - manipulate heat of the air around you with varying effects, or to send out a short wave of extreme heat from yourself, and has a resistance to fire attacks and an immunity to heat
Hermekinesis - to bend light around oneself in such a way as to appear different. Some might confuse this with morphing. There is no physical morphing that occurs with this ability and certain equipment can be used to "see" the real person behind the illusion. It does not allow one to become invisible and the illusion is limited to one's self, but the illusion can appear quite realistic, sort of like a life-like hologram surrounding yourself.
Hydrokinesis - Control, Generate and absorb water
Hyperkinesis - It is a crossing power between Telepathy and Telekinesis. You can move objects with your mind and read thoughts.
Hypnosis- you can hypnotize someone with your eyes, by eye contact with them, works better with prolonged eye contact, and may not work at all on strong minded people, but the actual hypnotization works just like any other type of hypnotic state on the victim.
Hypoperceptability - This telepathic ability creates a psychic shroud that nullifies the user's existence to the sensory perceptions of observers, causing them to ignore hearing or feeling or sensing the user's presence. This renders the user nearly imperceptible and is commonly called the Stealth ability.
Illusionist - to create illusions of all kinds. These illusions are highly advanced and last longer and are more realistic. These illusions are temporary, but can last for up to a day
Immortal/Elf - to live forever unless wounded too greatly. You age at far too slow a rate to notice any real changes for hundreds of years. You have limited weather manipulation, limited accelerated healing, a mild empath ability and are nature bound, caring for the well being of Plants and Animals.
Inhibition Manipulation - A form of telepathy, this ability allows you to manipulate the inhibitions of others with varying effects. You can make someone lose all inhibition, but then they become dangerous as they fear nothing and can become highly unpredictable, or you can enhance their inhibitions to the point where they fear everything and go insane. This is sometimes linked with fear manipulation, but a user of this ability can not know or pinpoint a person's fears.
Ingestion - You can ingest (eat) nearly anything, your jaws and teeth are superhumanly enhanced though remain normal in appearance, they allow you to chew up literally anything. Your entire digestive system is enhanced allowing your body to also ingest and break down literally anything into a biodegradable substance and get rid of it as it would naturally anything the body can not use for it's basic functions. There is a potential problem however if you throw up (puke) even small measures of your stomach acids can dissolve literally anything for up to the first minute after leaving the body, think about how fast acid will eat through everything in a full 60 seconds.
Invisibility - to seemingly disappear, with time and practice you can also turn objects you touch invisible as well.
Invulnerability - Partial or Total Imperviousness to harm of any kind.
Insectapathy - to telepathically control hordes of insects. It allows the user to communicate with insects as well.
Jinx - to bring bad luck to a person or thing, you might even be able to jinx an area, either by speaking, touching, or simply thinking it hard enough, many times it happens by accident. i.e. Choking, cursing, or tripping other people.
Lava Manipulation - the ability to manipulate or create molten rock and are immune to any damage from heat, fire, or lava
Liquidification - Turn partially or completely to Liquid and with practice can develop the ability to liquefy objects.
Lizardo - to regenerate any lost element of their body including a lost appendage, however this person may suffer from having tiny scales in certain places on the body as well, the color and coverage of the scales on the body tend to vary with each individual
Locator - You can find anything that's missing by concentrating on the object or person and moving your index finger in a circular motion, a tunnel of a special wave comes out from your finger and teleports you to the object/person
Luck - to bring good luck to a person or thing, you might even be able to charm an area, either by speaking or touching or simply thinking it hard enough, many times it happens by accident i.e. finding lost things, guessing the right thing, blessing someone.
Lunarkinesis - to absorb lunar rays and energy and focus it to create various results. Control over this power could range from dousing an area in harmless lunar light to incinerating someone with a highly charged lunar beam.
Maestrokinesis - to perform any and all musical compositions flawlessly with any musical instrument.
Magnetokinesis- Control and Generate Magnetic fields.
Marshmallow Secretion - thought to be a variation of confectionkinesis, this ability allows the person to secrete marshmallow creme, or to rain solid dry marshmallows of every size imaginable from their hands.
Mechanical energy perception (ME Percep) - to visually perceive or see the kinetic energy and potential energy present in the components of mechanical systems in action. An ancillary effect of this ability is a superhuman aptitude for comprehending and inventing machinery. The perception combined with a person's natural intelligence allows him or her to instinctively know and understand the potential and functional operations of any machine or technological device in their visual range, while the subconscious mind uses this knowledge to determine the theoretical principles and the steps necessary to conceive, design, build, modify, disassemble, and countermand machinery. Because many of the logical steps in inventing are worked out by the subconscious mind, you might not be entirely aware of exactly how you figured out how to create an invention.
Mediumship - to see and hear and communicate with the dead.
Mechanical Intuition - to intuitively understand how things function. Despite the name, it can be applied to any system or construct, be it social, biological or structural. This ability can be used to fix a broken or imperfect system by being able to sense intuitively how it should work and then repairing it by normal means. Similarly, it can be used to determine a system's weak points and thus break it down or alter it by normal means. Basically you can know how to do something and what you have to do in order to change it, but you have no superhuman ability to aid you in doing so. For example you would intuit how to do brain surgery, but you still have to physically do the surgery yourself.
Memory Manipulation- to erase, alter, or enhance the memories of another.
Mental Location - to know where Any ONE person is in the world. Usually after having met them, but it does also work if the person is asked to find anyone by name or description or seeing a picture. (Uses a map and thumb tacks to discover where the person they are looking for is located more efficiently.) They will get a vision of them and can describe the location and what the person is doing, and can also pin point on a map if given one the exact location of the person.They can only keep the telepathic link to the other person open for so long, length actually depends on the individual's skill and power.
Merfolk - to transform into a mermaid(your legs join together and become covered in fish scales and your feet turn to fins, gills sprout on your neck, but the rest of your body remains normal) when you enter a large body of water, or get hit with a strong bout of water. i.e. Rain fall, Showers .... Pools, Oceans, Rivers.... you get the point. But it goes away as your skin dries.
Merge - (For twins only) The ability for two individuals to merge (sort of like being absorbed into each other) into a single super-human individual that has enhanced senses and super strength.
Metabolic Manipulation - to manipulate the metabolism of objects and people.
Metamorph - to change ones appearance to look like another human.
Mimicry - to absorb and copy another's ability, life-force, memories, and skills through skin contact. This will put the other party into a coma if held onto for too long. But will allow you to then mimic or use their ability, memories, skills, and energy.
Mimetic Poly-alloy - you can become essentially a body of liquid metal, and use it to transform or emulate almost anything or anyone you have touched at any point in time, for example shifting your hands into knives or hammers, or mimicking your father's appearance, however your eyes (specifically the pupil or colored part of the eye) will retain a certain metallic hue to them enabling others to tell the real person from the metallic mimic if they look too closely at your eyes while they are open (think of it as similar to that guy in the Terminator movie), however being made of liquid metal you are susceptible to cold which can slow you down, make it hard for you to transform, and even freeze you and make you brittle and able to be harmed.
Midakinesis - to transform any atoms, ie objects or people, into gold by touching it.
Mind Reading - You are able to read the mind of one individual at a time that you target, but you can not speak to them in their minds, just read their thoughts, a sort of telepathic voyeurism, you can hear their thoughts but not speak telepathically, almost like hearing their thoughts on a radio in your own head.
Mind Speaking - You can send out telepathic messages, but can not read minds, a sort of one way telepathic communication. You can send out telepathic vibrations, that would only be picked up by other people that have telepathic abilities, sort of like a ripple on a pond it would keep rippling out with no direct target, but would allow the individual with this ability to get a sense of the number and location of other telepathic people, think of it like a telepathic sonar or something, which would help you locate someone to target with a certain telepathic message. However you can also inject a telepathic message into the minds of any single person you target within line of sight.
Molecukinesis - The ability to mentally Manipulate molecules. Control the molecules that make up anything that exists and change or rearrange them in another form.
Mud Manipulation - to manipulate or create mud and has a immunity to earth attacks and a certain resistance to water attacks
Muffle - to temporarily suppress the strength of or completely muffle any ability of anyone you target. Typically in unskilled users it is a defensive ability, but with practice it can become a more offensive ability as well as stronger. Thought to perhaps be a milder more controllable form of negation.
Muse - to bring inspiration to those around you, through telepathic connection or eye contact or touch you can enhance creativity or open mindedness, cause an epiphany and inspire someone.
Mystic - to use magic for most any cause. Divination, Potion, Spell casting. But your Power comes with Age and wisdom, meaning the longer you practice the craft the more efficient you will become. Other normal people might think they can cast spells, but you have a natural ability to do so. So if you cast a spell it actually works, usually with instantaneous results.
Nail Manipulation - to manipulate the growth of your nails. Your nails are like steel and can shoot out of your fingertips. Note: Like Nailz from Static Shock... if you've ever seen it.
Natural Armor - An unusually tough and durable outer shell or skin made of organic steel, and grant superhuman strength as well.
Necromancy- to summon ghosts or ghostly spirits to you, talk to them, see them, hear them, manipulate them, or make them visible and heard to others.
Necro Projection - You can see the dead and project an image of that ghost or spirit, make the projection move or reenact an event in the ghost's past, or can animate a dead object temporarily. Sort of a cross between illusion and necromancy, but you can not hear them and can not summon them or control them as you can with necromancy, simply manipulate the illusion of the ghost. Duration of the projection differs for each individual.
Negation - to cancel out all abilities, it is not certain the size of the area to which the negation takes place around you, but you can not focus it on one target
Nightcrawler - Wall crawler with night vision.
Omnilinguality - to learn a language instantly.
Omniweapons - to know how to use every kind of weapon, includes superhuman accuracy.
Optic Beams - to shoot solar blasts or laser beams from your eyes.
Oxy Manipulation - to absorb oxygen, this can either be used to smother a fire, or in an enclosed space can cause an area to become oxygen depleted, this also has the potential to be lethal in certain settings. a rare few with this ability have also been able to manipulate how oxygen bonds with other atoms
Omnipresence - Similar to astral projection, but you can be in several places at once, multiple projections of yourself, doing different things
Oppression - to call forth someones true emotions, thoughts, memories, preventing them from suppressing their emotions, preventing them from lying, and to activate a previously suppressed ability or memory.
Orbing - Able to disappear and reappear elsewhere, by transporting ones body particles, to any place.
Pandemonia - named after the Greek god Pan, an ability where only the lower half and a limited amount of facial features can animorph without changing size. So a person with this ability could transform their lower half to a human-sized bull and grow horns out of their head or maybe grow a leopard bottom half and grow whiskers on their face or morph the bottom half into a wolf and grow fangs but not any fur or snout. On a more scientific note this does not usually include one's genitalia, chest, back, arms and hands in the morphing, these things tend to remain strictly human looking
Persuasion - to control someone through their mind. i.e. You tell them to do or think something and they will, hearing their own voice in their head telling them it
Petrification - to turn living things or objects to stone either by touch or eye contact. Like the legend of Medusa. However reversing such an ability is harder and usually only a person with animation can reverse the petrification.
Phasing - Phase or flow through solid objects by passing ones atoms between the spaces of other particles.
Pheromone Manipulation - to generate and control pheromones, the imperceptible scent that attracts or repels people and animals to each other
Photographic Memory - to recall at the drop of a dime anything you have read or heard or seen or experienced. This differs from Photographic reflexes in that the users body may be unable to mimic moves you've seen before, however you may recall how to move your body to perform certain tasks and maneuvers. This ability also has memory projection, you are able to form a temporary illusion of your memories (similar to the necro-projection ability), sort of like a video that you can project for everyone to see.
Photographic Reflexes - to mimic any athletic, dancing, fighting, or martial arts, or any kind of movement after seeing it once.
Pigmentation Manipulation - to manipulate any hue of any thing and change it to a different color.
Plant Manipulation - To accelerate the growth of, control or animate plant life.
Poison - to release or secrete poison from yourself or other products. You can harvest the poison and store it in your body, but should it become too much in your body's storage, it will discharge itself through the skin, you can also store it in another object like a bottle, you can also make an object secrete it but only temporarily.And you are immune to any kind of poison.
Portal Creation - to open and manipulate portals through space or time, like black holes.
Possession - to control another's body by projecting your mind and spirit into their body and taking control of them, sort of like a puppet master controlling a puppet.
Postcognition - to see the past by touching something or someone.
Power Sensing - You can sense, recognize, and name a persons ability and understand the strengths and the weaknesses of it before they use it.
Precognition - to see the future by touching something or someone.
Premonition - to see the future and/or past normally through dreams, or from visions occurring when touching something that still has particularly strong psychic vibrations, unlike pre-and-post cognition, you only see vague flashes of the future or the past.
Psychometry - to perceive and attain knowledge within the surrounding area. ((Picking up a language, to sense/see things otherwise invisible to the naked eye, to intuit something, and to temporarily mimic another's ability))
Psychokinesis- to move objects from place to place or deform objects, such as bending metal spoons, through powerfully focused mental processes. They can not animate an object, but they can cause it to fly, sometimes at speeds faster than sight, from one place to another without touching it. And they can deform or reshape objects, almost as if they have super-strength even though they do not as they never touch the object they deform.
Psychic Vampire - to absorb the psychic energy from someone to grant themselves superhuman senses or strength. This energy drain can cause fatigue, or allow him/her to absorb the psychic energy of people nearest him/her and most likely place the targets in a coma. However much like emotional vampirism, a psychic vampire will suffer from a hunger for more psychic energy occasionally.
Psychic weapons- to create a weapon of psychic energy, like a psychic blast, that can harm mentally not physically, this also gives them a high resistance to mental attacks or manipulations.
Pyrokinesis - Create, control and extinguish fire using your mind or hands
Reactive Adaptation - to develop an instant immunity or resistance to whatever they are injured by, this can be everything from an immunity to a virus, to a resistance to certain attacks like fire. The immunity or resistance is temporary, but the length of duration tends to differ in each individual. Also with this ability they have a small amount of accelerated healing.
Reality Warping - you can warp the reality of anything and anyone you touch or within 12 feet around you into cartoons of all kinds or various other forms of artistic scenes, impressionistic, sketches, or even water colors, or just about anything you can dream up. Alter the dimensional appearance of them, one dimensional being flat, and three dimensional being normal, you can alter anything to have as many dimensional points as you can think up. The effect is temporary and length of the warping differs with each individual.
Regeneration - to regenerate dead cells, bring something dead back to life, but only within 24 hours of the death, after that time whatever is dead stays dead.
Repression - The ability to cloud or hide from someone their own thoughts, feelings, and/or ability.
Residual Emulation - This ability makes its user a sponge of other abilities, making it arguably the most powerful and dangerous ability of all. Residual emulators often do not understand how to use all of their abilities until forced, perhaps as a defense mechanism to do so. Abilities are often unknowingly copied by residual emulators when within a certain range of others with abilities and stored sort of like memories in the subconscious mind, but they may not know how to use these abilities or control them. It is unknown the limits of how many abilities a residual emulator can store, the length they can be stored, or how long one can continuously use an ability once it is activated. They however can only use or activate one ability at a time, but they can learn with practice to turn each ability on and off at will, however for each ability they gain they will need to learn how to control it, meaning they are most likely nearly constantly attempting to learn about each new ability.
Revelation - You can enter a person's mind, and call forth memories, not just memories from the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind, but parts that still have not been fully explained, parts of the brain that have stored memories of the individual's past lives, sometimes referred to as soul memories. Like a librarian of the mind, you will know instinctively every memory or soul memory within that individual's brain and can compel them to call forth or reveal certain memories or compel them to hide or suppress certain memories. This is not to be confused with memory manipulation, as with this ability you can delve into parts of the brain that are not turned on, you can even enter the minds of brain damaged or coma patients. There is only one portion of the brain that you can not enter, this is the region that when activated forms a supernatural ability in an individual, this area even in those with an ability will remain essentially a dead or locked zone of the brain to you, but the rest of the brain is fully unlocked and open, and only a person with the negation ability can block you out. Your ability uses small bioelectrical pulses to temporarily turn on these dark or previously unused portions of the brain, and may cause you to become tired or sleepy after spending more than a few minutes in another's mind, however repeated exposure of those bioelectrical pulses can repair some damaged synapses, it can't repair serious brain damage, but it can repair the electrical pathways in the brain, and has been known to bring people out of comas.This therapeutic aspect of repeated exposure to this ability has not been fully explored and is still considered a risky form of therapy
Sand Manipulation- to convert all or part of the body into a sand-like substance, can generate and control sand and other grainy substances. Allowing the user to be considered a one person sand storm.
Scent Manipulation - to change the scent of anything you touch, change a lime to smell like a dirty sock for instance, this ability is a bit weak when using it on human beings, but otherwise you can change the scent of anything with a little mental concentration and a touch.
Self-detonation - to explode one's body and reform. Not to be confused with the combustion/EMP ability, this ability is strictly an explosion of one's own body
Senses Manipulation - to Manipulate someones ability to speak, listen, taste, touch, see or smell.
Serenity - to manipulate the chemicals in the brains of those around you to calm them, slow adrenaline, slow certain hormones, and force them to be at peace around you, not necessarily quiet but at least peaceful and less nervous or angry and things like that, it isn't so much a mood manipulation as a manipulation of the chemicals in the brain of the individuals you target around yourself and once they are out of your target range they will return to normal gradually.
Siren - to hypnotize anyone or any animal with your voice.
Size Shifter - to increase or decrease your own size, or the size of other people.
Smoke Manipulation - create and manipulate and secrete smoke of various kinds.
Soap Manipulation - to secrete liquid soap, and to blow bubbles from your pores rather than sweat, or when you are in a steamy or misty area and attempt to secrete the soap bubbles may come out instead.
Solarkinesis - to absorb solar rays and waves and focus them into various results. Control over this power could range from dousing an entire room in harmless but blinding sunlight to incinerating a foe in a highly-charged solar pulse
Sonic Scream - to shatter objects, or confuse and immobilize a person with the sound of your voice.
Sound manipulation- to manipulate any and all sound waves, can cause varying effects, and have the rare ability to be immune to the siren.
Speed Manipulation - to Slow or Speed things up.
Spell Caster - The ability to use magic in the form of rhymed verses spoken aloud or hand symbols. The spells are temporary, but strength and duration tend to depend on the individual caster. Knowledge of specific spells that can be cast are handed down or learned, however many can accidentally cast spells by simply rhyming words or speaking poetry in conjunction with a certain mental concentration or 'wishing for something' while speaking the words.
Spiderman/Spiderwoman - Spidey sense, web shooters, wallcrawling.
Spike - a person with this ability will have small spikes of varying metals that can protrude shallowly from the skin in varying places on the body, most commonly along the spine, and when in attack or defense mode can grow the size and shape of these protrusions or even launch them out of their body
Sublimation - Transform to gases or mist form; ie turn into a cloud and float away
Superhuman Accuracy - Incredible Marksmanship
Superhuman Awareness - Increased awareness of one's self and one's surroundings. A person with constant awareness would have no problem noticing details or slight changes in atmosphere, and is capable of great concentration and 'remaining in the present'. For example, one would be able to sense without effort when a person has just walked into a room or is standing behind them, sort of like an enhanced sixth sense.
Superhuman Combat - Superhuman speed reflexes and fighting skills
Superhuman Longevity - Specifically, this is the ability to live longer than any normal human. They age at a slower rate, but can be killed and are susceptible everything like any normal human being, and they have no magic or super ability other than the slow aging process.
Superhuman Reflexes/Speed - to move and react faster than normal humans.
Superhuman Senses - to enhance your 5 senses, however you can not enhance more than two at the same time without suffering from a debilitating migraine, also a person with this ability may be susceptible to having headaches, or even migraines, as their senses can get overloaded, ie while using the enhanced smell they inhale something strong scented and it can cause a serious headache
Superhuman Strength - you can pick up things 10 tons more then your size, bend metal and other such things, break other items with ease.
Tail Morphing - a person with this ability is born with a slight bump on their lower back or on their tail bone, if this is surgically removed before their ability is formed at puberty then they will not be able to grow a tail of varying kinds from this source or bump, but remember they can't change their own physical size so if they grow too large or long of a tail they don't have the counterbalance necessary to use it properly, this source or bump on their tail bone or lower back is susceptible to damage, if damaged it will inhibit their ability to morph tails and if removed they wont be able to morph a tail at all
Technopath - to create and manipulate technology of various kinds, also known as technokinesis
Telekinesis - Manipulate and control objects with your mind.
Telepathy - to read another's thoughts and mentally communicate with others.
Teleportation - to leave one spot and reappear in another by teleporting a person, yourself, or an object.
Temporary absorption - Individuals who have this ability can control their own desires or necessities by absorbing them from others, or concentrating it from their own body. Putting it simply, this means that those individuals can become extremely good at any normal activity - rugby, math, hearing, etc. - they need for a certain amount of time. One downside to this ability may be that one could only perform a single ability or activity at a time and even then it is only temporary.
Thought Manipulation - Can mentally disrupt other peoples' thoughts, messing up their concentration and making them spout gibberish, eventually you'll be able make people say things, though you can NOT control peoples actions, just what they say or think.
Thought Projection - to think of something and draw it, which later results in the artwork coming to life. Whatever was/is drawn and later brought to life can only be sent away by destroying the paper; ripping it up, burning it, etc. crumbling paper will only cause the object to become weak and disfigured and disoriented.
Time Travel - to jump forwards or backwards in time similar to teleportation you simply leave one spot in time and appear in another spot in time, you don't move through space though, so you'd still be in the same spot just in a different time, ie you could travel back to the Victorian era but you'd still be standing in the same spot where you were.
Ultra-Violet - You are like a sponge, able to absorb the ultra violet rays of the sun, you have no fear of skin cancer or radiation poisoning, in fact you are immune to any sort of damage like that. And once you have absorbed the ultra-violet rays you can use the energy to heal nearly all types of cancers (there have been a few that have been known to heal more than just cancers but that is very rare). Similar to the healing ability you will place your hands on another person and feel the warmth of the sun pour through your hands and into the other person in a healing flow of energy and soft light, like instant chemotherapy without the side affects and a guaranteed success of killing the cancer completely
Umbrakinesis - to create shadows or darkness, or to psychokinetically move objects/yourself via shadows.
Vampire - their skin is cold to the touch and marble tough that shimmers like diamonds in sunlight, they have superhuman strength, super speed & reflexes, and a thirst for blood. Drinking human blood makes you strongest but you can survive on animal blood or synthetic blood. Immune to heat and cold. You have no heartbeat, but you do have a heart that will pump the blood while you are feeding, through your body and sometimes for a short time after you have fed you will have a heartbeat. Within your fangs is a sweetly scented neurotoxic venom, that you can choose to inject, or not to inject, into the victim at will, that is also used during hunts to incapacitate your prey, it is seemingly more potent on animals rather than humans, and will keep the blood thin so it is easily drinkable. The venom will cause hallucinations, but not dull the pain in the victim, though usually the hallucinations are of such a sweetly calm or sometimes wildly erotic nature that the pain is overlooked in most humans, and in animals the hallucinations are so strongly calming they cause the animals brains to simply shut down and the animal to fall asleep, allowing the vampire to feed peacefully. Animals or humans that are injected with the venom, but not killed, will become feral, full of rage, destructive and wild, without any fear of anything, and will have the desire to taste blood, to bite, animals are thought to be rabid and humans to be insane so that they will in most cases be killed before the venom can wear off because other humans fear them, which perpetuated the original vampire myths. Potency of vamp venom depends on each individual vamp. The whole garlic, no reflection, wolf or bat morphing, flaming during sunlight myths are all false, vamps have reflections, some like garlic, they can not morph into anything, and they may sparkle like a disco ball in sunlight but they don't turn into a flaming pile of ash.
Vectors - Has four invisible and intangible additional 'hands or claws' that can pick up and cut through objects. They move faster then light or sound.
Venom - You can generate any kind of venom you choose, you can secrete it, but have no way of injecting it into a victim without help of some kind of tool, ie a needle or biting someone hard enough to puncture their skin with your normal human teeth and secreting into the open wound. Once the venom leaves your body you can not control it's potency or change the type of venom, these things are only controllable within the body before secretion.
Virus Vector - to create, manipulate, and infect viruses.
Vision - You can see others while they are using their powers and expect them before they happen. You can see the invisibility power for example when the person using it is invisible, or see a person flame throwing a split second before they do so, or see through illusions. You can change your vision to x-ray, infrared, or eagle eye, or nearly any type of vision there is.
Vocal Mimicry - to alter the voice of yourself to mimic the voice of another person you have heard or remember hearing, though if mimicking a foreign language you don't know you might not understand what you've mimicked, you can also pinpoint imperceptible fluctuations or inflections in another's voice and tell if they're lying or their moods
Wallcrawling - to walk up/crawl on walls.
Weather Manipulation - to create or change the weather, this ability is largely tied to ones emotions, ie when your sad you might cause it to rain without really having meant to do so, or when pissed of cause a tornado or lightning storm.
Werewolf - You have superhuman senses and Strength, accelerated healing, Night vision, etc., Most nights you transform into a half-wolf half-man beast but only on full moons do you lose your grasp on humanity and become fully wolfish complete with a full wolf form. Can transform in daytime should you get too angry or need to protect someone.
Wing Morphing - a person with this ability is born with slight bumps on their shoulder blades, if they aren't surgically removed before their ability is formed at puberty then they will be able to grow wings of varying kinds from these bumps on their shoulder blades, with large feathered wings they can even take flight, or with small pretty butterfly wings they can simply look pretty, however these bumps on their shoulder blades are susceptible to damage and if damaged it will inhibit their ability to morph wings and if the bumps are removed completely then they wont be able to morph wings at all
X-Ray Vision- Ability to see through solid objects, into various levels, ie see a person's skeleton as they walk by, or even to simply see through a person's clothes to see what kind of underwear they wear.
