Thousand dollar question re: the new cat
Standard wiki practice (read: standard Wikipedia practice) is to have articles which are part of a subcat not listed as part of the parent cat. I've always liked having be a list of all people, whether evolved or not, but it's entirely up for discussion whether we should just go through and remove Category:People from the articles (making it a true parent category) or replace it with Category:Characters (preserving the combined list).
