Ahah. This page is just amazing :) Love it! Don't erase it you fool ! --  (talk) 18:00, 12 November 2007 (EST)
Agreed. Thats why I unerased it lol. --User:Aenicus/sig I would at this point like to say that this page is epic win. Everyone involved deserves a good pat on the back for sheer brilliance. It's like Encyclopedia Dramatica without gay porn or rampant racism, which IMO can only be a good thing ;) Rock on, citizens. Alloflifedecays 12:06, 29 July 2008 (EDT)

Uselessness

The Theory page for Mr. Muggles is full of nonsense and irrelevant theories, is there really a need for them? --MrLore|talk|Contributions

  • Besides showing that we can have a sense of humor, they really are valid theories in that they haven't been proved or disproved. Silly, but possible. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:31, 26 November 2007 (EST)

I'm sorry for being a spoil sport but I agree with Mr Lore to a certain extent. By all means the wiki should show a humourous side but can't it be done in a more proper place? Perhaps a new page can be created for farcical theories so that they are seperate from the thesible ones. --Tesphen 18:13, 9 December 2007 (EST)

  • How do we separate the farcical ones from the feasible ones? I'm afraid that introducing such judgmental policing invites edit wars. Take the first theory on the page: "It is significant that Mr. Muggles licked Claire's blood after her run-in with the garbage disposal." Where one person might see this as a really silly theory (why in the world would it be significant, that's what dogs do!) others might see this as a valid theory (Claire's blood has shown that it has healing powers when injected into a person). Yes, I agree many of the theories here are ridiculous, but if they're valid, our policy has been to leave them alone. That said, I rarely even check the theory pages, so I don't care too much what happens with them. I just like that people have a place to theorize and speculate and to read what others say, even if it's silly. I also appreciate that we don't make judgments on these theories other than pointing out pros and cons. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2007 (EST)
    • But if I was to go onto Elle's theory page and submit that she was actually a purple kangaroo in disguise or added a theory to Angela's page that Angela likes watching pixies dance and has an army of them in a fishtank in Macau, I'd get blocked as a vandal. Some of the theories CLEARLY make no sense. I say that if a theory is illogical, irrational or lacks citation then it should be deleted or moved to a farcical page. What fun is a theory page when it's stacked full of crap. --Tesphen 08:46, 10 December 2007 (EST)
      • I personally think we should have a parody template, which clearly states that, yes, we're having a little joke, and that these aren't to be taken seriously. Then you remove problems like this. We could also make Heroes Wiki:Humor or something similar and write a policy about the use of it in articles/theory pages.--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  08:57, 10 December 2007 (EST)
        • I agree. 09:10, 10 December 2007 (EST)
        • But if you devote this page to parody theories then where do you put the sensible Mr Muggles theories?
          • I think this page is getting awesomer each day. I really like to have this piece of joke around cause it's all so serious (which is why this site rulz btw) everywhere else, keeping this theories is a good thing ! And it makes me laugh :)--Tesphen 11:31, 10 December 2007 (EST)
          • However, I took this page, along with the theory page for waffles, seriously the first time I read them and I even posted something there with my opinion in it, pages like this need to be taken to a different place so that new members who may stumble upon them do not take them as actual fact, what kind of a world would it be if people thought that waffles were going to team up with a dog to destroy the world? Not one I would like to live in. Martinpetrelli94321 13:35, 17 June 2008 (EDT)

HEY PEOPLE WHO THINK THIS IS ALL SPAM

YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THE PAGE! GO LOOK AT A REAL THEORY PAGE IF YOU HATE THIS!
