Graphic Novel:The Crane
Hiro Nakamura goes to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial to commune with his father. He brings an origami crane he has fashioned from the front cover of Action Comics, Issue #1. Hiro remembers that his grandfather gave him the comic as a lesson. Hiro reflects on the legacy his grandfather's created in surviving Hiroshima during World War II; Hiro feels he has done a disservice to his grandfather's memory. He vows to never let that happen again.

- The Hiroshima Peace Memorial tower used in The Crane appears to be a replica of the "Monument in Memory of the Korean Victims of the A-Bomb" [1] located in Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima City, Japan.
