Mr. Petrelli is Nathan and Peter's late father. According to his widow Angela, he was diagnosed with major depressive disorder at age 23. He committed suicide after two other failed attempts, all of which were covered up as heart attacks. Mr. Petrelli had ties to Mr. Linderman. He supposedly has mob mob ties with Mr. Linderman and sevreal of his other clients. He evidently left his wife considerably wealthy.
