Amanda is in her room talking on the phone with Lydia. When Carol comes to the door, Amanda hangs up.
Carol, Noah, and Meredith talk about Amanda and her "small problem" in front of the house.
Amanda is in her room talking with her mother on the phone, saying she wants to come to her, but Lydia says it is too dangerous, upsetting Amanda. She hangs up, and begins to pack her things as her room erupts into flames.
Amanda loses control of her ability, setting her room ablaze. The fire spreads, setting fire to the rest of the house. Firefighters and paramedics arrive to take care of the situation.
Trivia
- Lydia shows Edgar a Sprint phone with Amanda's address. The address shown on the phone is 77 Meadowlark Boulevard in Northfork, CT. The address was chosen as a wink to Foz McDermott's sister-in-law, who lives at a very similar address (and is a big fan of Heroes).
