Jose Yenque is the actor who portrays Edward in the Destiny webisodes.


Jose Yenque has acted on a television soap, and numerous television series and films. Jose played "Darrell Ray" in 23 episodes of the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives (1998-1999), and has a recurring role on television series including as "Gabriel Herrera" in The Division (2001-2003) and "Copperhead" in Justice League (2002-2004). He also guest starred in episodes of series such as The X Files (1997), Nash Bridges (2000), ER (2001), NYPD Blue (1995, 2001), Without a Trace (2003), JAG (2005), CSI: Miami (2006), Nip/Tuck (2008), and Lost (2010).

In film, Jose has starred in television movies including the short film Foto Novelas: The Fix (1997), and other films Between (2005) and Marlowe (2007). He has also had acting parts in several moviehouse films such as Fall (1997), Traffic (2000), The Last Adam (2006) and I Believe in America (2007); and in the short film Broken (2006).

Besides acting in television and film, Jose has trained with several New York theater companies and toured internationally with West Side Story, for which he received rave reviews for his portrayal of "Bernardo".


  • In 2007, Jose Yenque won the Imagen Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his acting in the made-for-television film Between (2005).
  • Also in 2007, Jose received the Sol Azteca Award in the category Ambassador of the Year for his 7 years of volunteer work with the children of Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. This award was endorsed by Congresswoman Mary Bono-Mack. The Sol Azteca Award is given at the annual International Hispanic Awards.
  • In 2006, he received the Sol Award in the category Outstanding Contribution to the Arts from the Cine Sol film festival (Texas).


  • His mother, Broadway actress, Teresa Yenque, co-starred with Jose Yenque in PBS's television film The Blue Diner (2001).
