  • I know a lot of people (especially visitors who aren't always registered on Heroes Wiki) check out our season two spoilers pretty regularly. I thought I'd make it a bit more user-friendly with this template. It's kind of non-standard, but I think it works in the case of spoilers. If people are generally opposed to it, we can remove it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:53, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
    • Interesting idea. However, not sure if it's needed, a spoilers are listed by date anyway, with newest at the top. If they check it regularly, would they not be aware of the newest spoilers? Just a thought. --   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  08:57, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
      • Not always, which is one of the main reasons I added it. I often add spoilers that come from articles that are more than a few days old. The dates reflect when the source was published, not when the spoiler was added. But I don't want to sound dismissive. If people think the template is unneeded, then we can get rid of it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:13, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
      • It's a good idea but we should define a time in which an entry is considerated as "new". If there isn't any new entry, we could remain the "new" tag to the last entry but if we add more content maybe something like a week could be enough to be considerated as "old" ;) What do you think ? -- Frenchflo.gif (talk) 08:57, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
        • I'm not opposed to setting a time limit, but personally, I think it should be just a general guideline of the last two or three spoilers. Kind of like our news items or most recent template:interviews--there's not a set expiration date, just a general GIGO guideline. In with the new, out with the old, unless something is really interesting and should stay on for a round or two more. But that's just who I feel--if we want to set a more strict limit, I'm open to that. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:13, 24 August 2007 (EDT)
